I've gathered some relevant cool down times from Destiny 1 and the Destint 2 Beta. This data was gathered from Voidwalker Warlocks from both games.
Destiny 1
Max intellect super: 4:00
Max discipline grenade: 25 seconds
Max strength melee: 25 seconds
Min intellect super: 5:30
Min discipline grenade: 1:00
Min strength melee: 1:00
These times were gathered from the ingame menu.
Destiny 2 Beta
Destiny 2 removes the old int/dis/str system for flat cool down times. These times were hand gathered by me and have a margin of error of about one second.
Super: 7:30
Grenade 1:22
Melee: 1:22
Healing rift: 1:22
Analysis
The Destiny 2 Beta has cooldowns that are longer than the longest cooldowns in Destiny 1 by a significant margin. But wether this is a problem is up for debate.

I'm not having any issues with the ability cooldowns. Every engagement seems paced to use your abilities when they're up. Pvp as well. Super timers on the other hand are way too slow. They need to adjust the amount of super energy obtained from killing minions of the darkness, or guardians. OR they need to let us know that some gear will be available to negate this extremely long timer. BUT then if that's the case there will be no diversity because everyone will just be using that perk on everything all the time.
