Don't mistake the vocal minority on this forum. I guarantee you D2 PvP will post much, much better player retention numbers then D1 did.
D1 pvp was a mess. It was broken.
While d2 MP obviously has flaws it actual feels like a somewhat competent pvp shooter. As opposed to a broken mess that you'd play for 20 minutes before laughing and turning it off.
With that being said here's a few things I think could be tweaked for the better.
-Nades and melees should recharge a little bit faster. They're pretty weak now so there's no need to have them on such a long cool down timer.
-The big problem is nade recharge being too long. People can clump teamshot because you almost never have an AOE attack to prevent it.
-Kill times and movement speeds could be bumped up a tad.
-I don't like that kills and assists are merged. Especially since assists are given out so easily.
-Static weapon perks make duplicate weapon drops totally pointless. You may as well be getting nothing.
-The lack of subclass options is disappointing.
- What's the point of "competitive" and "quick play" if they use the exact same MM? Competitive should have tight skill and party size MM. Quick play should be pretty much only cbmm.
-
2 답변Assists should be given after dealing 40-50% of a players health, at least for a kill credit. Now I can tickle a guardian cross map with my smg to have him die and get kill credit for participating.

Eyes up Guardian, have you been a one wolf, has your clan fallen apart during the recent content drought, are you bored and looking for something to keep you engaged in Destiny while you await D2 and its eventual release in September, or have you found that the beta is telling you that playing in a clan will bring you more success? If some of this sounds familiar, I suggest you come take alook at XxTheWolfpackxX for either PS4 or XB1 and yes, we even have a PC clan ready to go for when that is available. PS4 - https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/1151566 XB1 - https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/1121944 PC - https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/1904923 The clan was started in August of 2015, just in time for Taken King after several of the original members had gotten together and decided that playing solo was just not the way to go anymore. We are a community of like-minded gamers that holds its teamwork and values seriously, with one intention and goal in mind; To unite guardians who seek a clan to call home with clanmates who have your back with no requirements.

2 답변6v6 is still the way to go. A massive game like this withs clans and all that shouldnt be making pvp smaller just to balance the connection
-
3 답변I can truly say I haven't had any matchs in D2 that I can remember.... No epic plays or massive multi kills ( real kills not this you put one bullet in a guy and it counts as a kill so everyone feels good about themselves nonsense) it's very balanced but the skill gap is massively decreased by this very slow ttk. Balance doesn't equal fun.

1 답변작성자: Chanty 7/21/2017 5:51:24 PM1.) Ability cool down actually forces people to use their guns 2.) Again, it's better that you actually have to work with your team 3.) Nope, that will lead to the game having "op" guns and everything going to crap 4.) It's a Beta, the weapons will have different rolls in the full release 5.) Again it's a beta, there will likely be more options in full release. 6.) Competitive because it's more difficult. I really hope there isn't a real competitive PvP in D2 or that will lead to another Toxic PvP community. Honestly they should just add a Mayhem mode and people will stop complaining as slow AF supers.

5 답변Nah only good thing is power weapons... primaries are weak and melees and grenades and supers and.... y1 i think had the best meta
-
Faced a lot of people that thought they were "Gud" in destiny 1 an shit on them because they couldn't spam their abilities,an had no gun game.the hate mail coming from beta was glorious, no more shenanigans except, people who try to camp power ammo besides that I was happy with beta.

20 답변The only people i see complaining so far seem to have NO GUN SKILL who are so used to Crutching on ability kills. I love it .. Squirm in that chair you cowards your time is over.

I think everyone needs to just change perception of how the shield and health system works. Everyone dies just as fast when the shields are down, but depending on your resilience, you'll lose your shield faster. This adds a lot of dynamic gameplay in my opinion, but I think we should have two separate bars to indicate how much health and how much shields we have. Not the singular bar.

I do like the gun fights much more in D2 as well as the higher TTK, but the ability cool down is a bit too long, if everyone gets a super at the same time then the last minute of a match is complete mayhem, and the game just feels strange. Also let's just completely separate PvP and PvE Bungie
-
2 답변I think a slight bump to super energy would be great. Even if I do pretty well I barely have time to get one super off in a match
-
TTk ie perfect that should not be touched. Grenades should cool down faster and static perks is one of the reasons why pvp feels so good. In full game you will be able to give duplicates to your other character or just dismantle for material.
-
2 답변Strongly agree with you. It was so refreshing playing crucible without fear of instant dying to a shot gun or fusion. All weapons have a purpose and are relatively balanced. Slower ttk means you have to be more careful picking your fights. Play to the advantage of your equipped weapon, engaging some one with smg when they have a scout, and you going to have a bad time. Also like the strong emphasis on team play, no more MLG lone wolf bull s**t.
-
1 답변1st impression is that it's less like an fps like cod and more like a team kill game like overwatch. It is probably because the time to kill is too long.
-
1 답변I have to be honest...I've been enjoying PvP for D2. A few tweaks here and there, but mostly there isn't anything I'd change about it. PvE is a whole other beast altogether. I think, more than ever, that separation of PvE and PvP should be highly considered.
-
It's ok at best. Really stupid that most matches you can't even get a super. Killing a large group with your super was the best part of pvp. And I still have a crap ton of lag but that could be because of servers not being all on. Weapons seem good though and ttk isn't too bad.
-
Don't forget supers. Sometimes you don't even get to use a super in a match which is baffling. They added this cool mechanic of elemental matching against supers to shut them down easier. SO WHY AREN'T THERE SUPERS BEING USED THEN?!?!?!?
-
1 답변PvP is certainly better but PvE has lost its fun and is suffering because of subclass changes
-
5 답변It may be more "competitive" but it feels so watered down. It's not the destiny I fell in love with. So many supers seem pointless now. Titans feel so clumsy to play. Nova bomb has been ruined. Like others have said I play this game for the wild and crazy abilities and guns and D2 seems to lack many of the small things that made D1 great. Also does anyone feel the graphics look even cartoonier than D1? They're not bad graphics but they seem less realistic than D1. Closer to a borderlands style
