My own personal thoughts of the beta so far... being the changes made... I'm loving what I'm seeing right now. I was never big on using secondarys for a lot of my gun fights in D1- I'd have to force myself to remember I have them, and start using it by force. I never used snipers really in PvP, I mostly used my primary weapons and heavy. I relied on primary gun play for crucible- so this right now feels no different to me play style wise. I will say I am happy to see so little of Snipers and such... yeah I still see them- but it isn't rounding a corner blind and suddenly head shot. I am enjoying getting into fire fights, having actual gun play and not trying to fight against someone at the end of a hall with a sniper who dabs on cheap body shot kills with a Weapons of Light Ice Breaker. Sure I still get pub stomped by folk who are better than me... but I am loving the gun play so far now that it's slowed down, and it's not rampant with special weapons. My only actual 'complaint' really is the super taking so long to come up. By the time it's up... it's usually towards the end of the match- and everyone is popping super just to use it cause it's been 6 minutes with no supers. Though I will say there is the rare few games I manage to get two supers... very rare. I would like if it charged maybe a liiittle bit faster- or at least make the score cap a bit bigger so we have time to actually use the supers. Cause lets face it... 0:42 seconds on the clock... four enemies... three supers are ready... who's gonna get the kills?! Other than that... yeah it's a little funky not having a sniper and a rocket to do boss damage... but I'll get used to it. Over all, I'm happy with the changes to the games gun play, I'm excited to see how the mod system will work, so I can customize my primary weapons to my liking for both PvE and PvP. And yeah, I've read around... a lot of folk aren't happy with the changes. Well... I only have to say... stick to Destiny 1. "The game isn't Destiny anymore, real Destiny fans know that this isn't the same game." Duh.. it's not. It's a sequel, fixing everything wrong with the original, making changes... improvements and new content. That's what a sequel is. It doesn't have to be flashy... I can name a lot of games where the sequel wasn't something awe inspiring and flashy that everyone seemed to love to death... games that did exactly what Bungie is doing now. Fixing problems with the original in this one, making improvements and adding new content. Haters gonna hate, but you're still here, so why hate- and just enjoy the game?
