Fix these 2 things in pve, and you may have a winner. The two primary system for pve worries me though if heavy remains scarce.
EDIT: Someone pointed out nerfing enemies' health somewhat in pve. Is that the answer?
EDIT: Nobody likes the idea of enemy health reduction lol. Sorry to whoever suggested it.
EDIT: This is the community consensus from people that mostly enjoy the beta
EDIT: My personal opinion, the super charge is fine, more ammo in general needs to drop, control needs to be 100 points so it's not all supers at the end, and abilty charges need a faster cooldown.

1 답변I couldn't stop using the hunter exotic hand cannon in PvE. After getting a hold of that I couldn't see a reason to use a heavy weapon other than just to try them both out.

작성자: DizzAce 7/19/2017 9:31:33 PMOutstanding for PVP, sucks for PVE. I think having my super more often in PVE is more about an enjoyment factor rather than the naive question of whether or not I'm gonna get through the content. Of course I'll get through, no one has ever argued destiny is a "difficult" game, so what's the game breaking harm in having a few more supers in PVE? Really enjoying PVP love that it's not an ability spamming cluster. :)

I have rarely used my Power Weapon due to the fact that the ammo is extremely rare and the guns are painfully underwhelming. A lot of the Power Weapons sound, look and feel amazing but none of that matters when most of said weapons are weak. Crucible suffers the same problem, people aren't strangling eachother to be the one who gets Power Ammo because most of the time you get one kill, two if your lucky. The weapons are extremely underwhelming for their rarity.

Love the beta so far. Only complaints are, like stated previously, control is too short for how fast supers charge and needs to be lengthened a bit more. Heavy ammo in PvE is a bit too scarce at times which makes the boss fight drag on after a while. The Pulse rifle "The Nightshade" seems a lil too potent compared to most other guns, I think the problem has to do with armor piercing rounds ripping shields apart. Finally, submachine guns and grenade launchers feel very underwhelming atm. Haven't tried the linear fusion rifles yet but from what I've seen the flinch seems like a bit much in them.

For some reason now I'm left wondering what the hell I did wrong. One more thing is the recovery is slow as hell. It just makes it so you have to wait more.

To me it's not just the slow charge rate of the Super, it's all of the abilities. Every time I boot up the Destiny 2 Beta and I play the Homecoming mission or the Inverted Spire, I begin thinking about old school Bungie and their infamous "30 Seconds of fun", the Legendary "Golden Triangle" of Guns, Grenades and Melee definitely feels out of whack in the D2 Beta. The shooting in Destiny 2 is good but it's not that good that the game can survive just on gunplay alone. For its many faults, combat in Destiny felt right. Combat in the Destiny 2 Beta hasn't hit that sweet spot where I log on and then I find that I can't stop playing.

Could also buff the crit multiplier for pve. But more ammo is still needed. But I have a feeling there are full game gear/perks to make supers charge quicker. Double primaries does feel weird as well. Think they need to increase the utility of energy weapons. Maybe give them special attributes in pve. Like AOE damage, armor break, or a DOT.

Pve is -blam!-ed. They concentrated way too much on pvp. Only reason that strike feels some what difficult is because we are weaker. There is literally nothing else different. No new mechanics. Just a bullet sponge you shoot with a water gun. Cheap way to make things challenging. I want to feel like a badass killing aliens and shit. But instead we get 2 primaries which have always been weak and mediocre heavy weapons. Everyone has the same ability cooldown. Its all great for pvp tho so thats good. At least ill get a few weeks of playtime

3 답변I never seem to have an issue getting my super. I almost always have it about halfway through a fight. I like that heavy is rare as well. I feel like D2 is much more gun-skill based than instakill special weapon based like D1. Shotgun warriors are gone, sniper campers are gone, sidearms are nowhere near as effective, and I've had a very balanced experience across all of the kinetic and energy primaries. It seems like most of the complaining is coming from people who rely on supers and nearly game-breaking weapons to play well.

13 답변Are any of you being realistic? Ive encountered no bullet sponges. Supers are fine. Why does everyone expect to have a super every 60 seconds. Its ridiculous. Everyone expects to just blow through stuff easily. Come people get in touch with reality.

3 답변PvE was brought down heavily due to the need of balance in PvP. I loved the PvP because it was balanced and enjoyable but the PvE suffered greatly. I don't feel powerful or heroic and I struggle to kill a single cabal. The enemy needs minor health reduction or buff the player some how. Possibly have minions of Gary give more light to the player because they stole our light or something. The player should be the hero in PvE not some shmuck who uses all their ammo to kill a single enemy.
