Chikage is Meta as -blam!-! Gemming is the hardest part. (Yes. Harder than fighting Logarius as soon as humanly possible) You don't want to skimp Vit because it's a Bloodtinge build. This means you'll be using Chikage in 2h mode which drains your life slowly. Regen gems are a waste btw. Min-max for health, stamina, and damage. I went with 30 end. No more than 40 due to diminishing returns Str, minimum requirement for weapon if there is one. Skl, this one kinda depends. No dlc means no bowblade. I would recommend a maximum of 25 to reach the 1st breakpoint. This lets you run a skl weapon until you get Chikage, and allows you to make *some* use of the chikage in 1h mode while you have a pistol out. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. A chikage build can function on Bloodtinge alone, but the first part of the game will be more difficult until you kill Logarius as soon as you possibly can. Bloodtinge, CAP THAT SHIT. 50 is where you begin to see harsher diminishing returns but you can get away with 40-45. Not optimal, but workable. Arcane, no investment. For gear, Chikage and either Evelyn or Repeater Pistol. Madras Whistle is pretty take it or leave it. Hits like a truck but it's slow, and you can kill yourself with it. Thematically it fits the build though. Evelyn+Bone Marrow Ash=OP. Reiterpallasche (gunblade thing) is underpowered. So is the rifle spear. Chikage+Evelyn/Reoeater Pistol is hands down the best weapon for a tinge build.

Non-DLC I like Reilterpasch (the gun rapier thing), and Tonitrus. Augur of Ebrietas is fun, but not really worth it in the end. With DLC the Bowblade is super fun, and of course my favorite; the Holy Moonlight Sword!
