Don't get me wrong, I like it, it looks cool. But seems like they basically said, "Let's make a warlock sunbreaker subclass."
Now if the sunbreaker ends up returning, that makes the two subclasses way too similar for my taste.

3 답변the point is to make it look like he is throwing big rubber dongs at enemies. Hence named DongBlade

1 답변I thought Dawnblade was okay. But Voidwalker, holy snap! Best class in the whole game, me thought. That class is making me wants to become Warlock main in D2.

2 답변Warlock is the new Titan since they now have Blessing and Weapons of Light, Twilight Garrison as an ability and Hammer of Sol with swords.

1 답변작성자: SquattingTurtle 7/19/2017 6:11:00 PM^ They should have just buffed sunsinger. All these roaming super classes are boring. What happened to different and unique supers? I never cared for the revive, but a super that empowers your normal abilties was suprisingly fun, at least when it actually did anything, the grenade nerf hurt SS's super.

3 답변Would you be happy if it's super had a secondary function like Sentinel? If you activate your super while downed you self-res, but it uses up your super and you do not go into Dawnblade form. (only available within the first 15secs of acquiring your super)

It doesn't feel like sunbreaker at all to me. Sunbreaker required less thought to get value out of it. When used, you could just kinda walk around and throw hammers. With Dawnblade, you have to think about where you're floating so you don't die when your super is over, and where you're shooting as the fire strikes don't seem to have any aim assist and minimal splash damage. It also doesn't see, to be viable when used on the ground at all, Hammer of Sol could be used just fine on the ground. I feel extremely lightweight and delicate when using the subclass, while Sunbreakers(or titans as a whole really) felt very heavy. Dawnbreakers also get to float while shooting, which creates a whole new dimension in gunfights. Overall, I think the subclass feels great, and not like anything else we've had on Destiny due to its focus on aerial combat. The only thing that sucks about it is that the super doesn't do enough splash damage for how short of a duration it has. They also need to buff Orb of Light drops to the way they were during Y1 Destiny.

14 답변What you should have been asking is what was the point of radiance? A super that decreases your cool down is a terrible super. Now at least they have a proper ability.

1 답변작성자: Broc 7/19/2017 7:22:50 AMthey aren't even close to the same. Warlock drops rift, Titan drops shields. Grenades are different, jumps are totally different. Just because they are both solar and they both throw stuff doesn't make them the same. Also the Titan hammers fly far faster than the warlocks sword swings, and the warlock gets farm more controllable in-air movement than the hammer titan, at least how it plays right now. And if we're going to say "Well how do you know if the Titan hammer bro will be the same" we don't, so why bring up the argument to begin with. Sunbreaker was already broken, and you were already just jumping around throwing one hit kill grenades at everyone so it hasn't changed. Where was this argument when hammer-bro came out? It went away because hammer bro is awesome, and so is dawnblade.

2 답변
Now if the sunbreaker ends up returning, that makes the two subclasses way too similar for my taste.
Big if. It's got key differences, but yeah, it's similar and definitely shouldn't be in the game together. My money is on 3 more brand new subclasses releasing later on via DLC again.

8 답변As a Warlock main, mainly solar... I'm happy to finally get my wings -- I don't even care about Dawnblade. Lol, I'm just happy I have wings every time I jump and use angel of light.

9 답변Im kinda on the fence. Rez was so useful in both PvP and PvE. Dawnblade seems like it makes you a giant target... without the shielding required to make that work. Kinda bummed.

3 답변Playing it in the beta right now, I can tell you from experience that the aerial focus is really everything. The act of actually popping the super is, I admit, fairly dull and uninspired, but the subclass as a whole definitely has its place especially in PvP. Shooting while gliding paired with the twilight garrison dodge is a super in its own right.

Most subclasses, excluding the obligatory Titan defender class with the bubble shield and the shield and what not, are almost exactly the same How really different is a void bomb from a Titan strike, or a gunslinger from a palpatine warlock? What do these super abilities add to the gameplay that wouldn't be there otherwise? As far as I can see, they exist purely as a defacto killstreak that you don't have to go on a streak to get.

4 답변The glides are wayyyyy too slow, grenades are not the greatest, and midair dodge doesnt really dodge :/

2 답변The Super aside, it looks like it's centered around aerial combat. There's the Risen Angel perk, which is basically renamed Angel of Light with an additional effect of increasing the duration with precision damage. Phoenix Dive to quickly descend and heal, Skyfire to deal AoE damage when using Phoenix Dive during the Daybreak Super, Wild Fire, which will allow you to shoot your weapon and throw Grenades while gliding, and Blazing Dash for dodging in midair.
