What is the most disappointing game that you've ever played? It can be a new or old game doesn't matter.
for myself I'd say Mass Effect: Andromeda. It was my first Mass Effect game and it left a bad aftertaste when I finished it. It was definitely one of the more overyhyped games in recent memory and boy was it a let down.
Well if you mean as in really disapointing, thus not neccesary a bad game but not quite living up to expectation. So a disapointing game rather than a terrible game. I'd say Black and White. I still enjoyed it somewhat and it wasn't terrible but it definitly did not live up to the expectations that I had. For a more recent example, the same could be said for No Mans Sky.

Final Fantasy XIII That game was hyped even more than any game I can think of and this was on top of it being part of an already established, popular, and over all good series. Everything about this game was made to seem so amazing. They always showed open, wide shots of the environments. The combat also look so amazing and intuitive. It seemed like it was going to be the next biggest FF game.... Then the game came out and my god....it was the worst game I ever played. Auto-battle was pretty boring. The reward system (both for exp and items) was god awful forcing you to play a certain way just to get 5 start to get the most of battle. On that topic there was almost no reason to fight larger enemies except for drops because 5 starring them took way too much time and if you didn't get it there went a good chunk of exp out of the window. Then there were the summon battle which were even more of a pain in the ass than they needed to be. Let's not forget that they pretty much push you down a hall way through most of the game, only to give you an semi-open world area that you can't even do anything in until after you beat the final boss. Finally, the characters (except for Sahz, he was the only character that I liked and seemed to be the only one they put any effort in to) and the story were god awful.

Probably ESO. I absolutely loved skyrim but I got ESO and played it for about a week or two but haven't touched it in over a year. Could be from lack of people to play with but I wish I could get into it but I just cant
