My opinion is they got tired of us asking why the grimore is not in the game and why they would not use the grimore to make more dlc so they removed it so they could make the complaints easier on them.
The less we have to complain about the better the game.
^^
Bungies thought system right here.

작성자: FairlySplendid 6/26/2017 11:56:18 PMDo you want an honest answer? Grimoire was a Band-Aid fix to the problem of the Vanilla Destiny shipping with a patched together storyline. A Band-Aid that Bungie did not expect the community to latch onto the way they did. For the sake of being cost-effective they kept it around through the entirety of D1. D2 (just like TTK) is going to be a "soft reboot" of the franchise's overall direction. From this point forward, lore/canon is going to find its way into the game itself. Be it scannables, side quests, better flavor text, NPC interaction, in-game dialogue, cut scenes or a combination there of. What it means in the long run is we will probably have less "lore" in D2 but... more connected, cohesive lore that matters. "World building". If that makes sense....

To Many elites looking at the number and using it as a judgement of how good of a player you are. Can't tell you the number of times my 5500 has gotten the "nice" and "well you know what your doing". Like the score really has any meaning on skill. Makes those with a "smaller" number -cough- feel inadequate. 😁👍

I honestly think that they are removing all nostalgic items from Destiny 2 to prevent distinguishing you from the kindergardians. It's all about making the community "feel good" and the "nobody is left out" mentality. I mean look what they're giving you for your dedication to the game since year 1...an emblem. It's all about fairness.
smh🤕
Because the vast amount of people who've ever played Destiny probably don't even have a Bungie.net account. Only the most hardcore Destiny players would have gone through the trouble of creating a Bungie.net account so that they can read Destiny's Grimoire cards.

9 답변Have you considered that the game systems couldn't support the type of story telling that they are going to do in Destiny 2? Remember the Destiny was made for 360 and PS3, then ported to Xbox 1 and PS4. When the legacy consoles where left behind we got more story content movie inserts while trying to make the game work on new gen consoles with an old gen based game. I think the grimore was put in because the old consoles couldn't handle the type of story movie inserts that we are going to see in Destiny 2 which was Bungie's plan for the game but the legacy consoles wouldn't be able to handle it

1 답변Please take the tin foil hat off. The grimior was taken out because this time we're getting an actual story. We are also getting lore from in the game. So there is no need for the grimior cards. They put those in destiny to try to make up for the lack of story in the original.

1 답변WTF? The Grimoire is gone because Bungie is honoring the community's wish to have the game's lore BROUGHT INTO THE GAME. ...and there is no need to do both that AND keep the Grimoire. What is WRONG with you people? Honestly.....

6 답변*facepalm* They're ditching Grimoire cards, not lore. Meaning the information contained within the cards will now be found in the game instead of on the website.

4 답변Because it was a stupid thing that never should have existed. The only reason it existed is because bungo didn't have a story like a month before launch so they copy/pasted the same mission like 20 times (go to place, defend 3 waves) and put in a bunch of bullshit cards that you can read on the website. Then they made everything ambiguous enough with enough broken holes so that a bunch of pizza faced friendless basement dwellers would fill in the blanks and come up with all these "theories" about some big special universe when in reality there was no thought put into any of it as you can see by the progression of the actual story in the game. It's blatantly obvious because each DLC and expansion doesn't have continuity, they don't follow the direction you thought the game was going and the enemies don't seem to increase in threat.
