4v4 big team sounds great tho.
Vehicle combat was so lacking in Destiny One, and it was a heavily requested feature for the casual crucible player in Destiny One.... I can't wait for this game to break away from the 12-16 player limits of the last generation of consoles it was tied down to.
Spread out, give me massive 32 player maps. Witch vehicles and space combat, it's about time those ships had a purpose other than bragging rights and glorified loading screens. Hell yeah Destiny 2 deliver on this.
Wait what....
So it's all limited to 4v4 matches now?
Huh? Those ships are still only used to personalise a loading screen?
Huh..... I see.....
So, what's new exactly?

They should shift all high tier end game loot into pvp, promote players getting better, which they can't do within a scripted raid. Once you do your initial raid run, and assuming you figured it out without a YouTube guide or someone showing you how to do it- and in turn got your money's worth.... then a raid becomes nothing more than routine. Other players, other human controlled opponents will always be more challenging than scripted AI. Player growth comes from PvP, pompous know it all's come from PvE. Getting to 400 doesn't make you a good player, it makes you more reckless and able to sustain more damage than you could earlier.

i am torn between SBMM and CBMM. i love the idea of SBMM. but hate facing 4 red bar warriors every match. but with CBMM, there is a good chance i will be stuck against much better players than me/my team every game. which gets tiresome after some time. they need to find that perfect balance, i feel.

I do. Just making a point D2 seems to be more of the same. And less new. And yeah no dedicated servers does sting. It's still p2p so making a 4v4 across the board scenario really doesn't matter. The "best players" always the one with the best ping- sucks. Same problems we had since halo 2.
