I think the reply went over your head pal. Grenades are still an example, it's a sequel. Not an entirely new game series. Borderlands 1 to borderlands 2 isn't incredibly different gameplay wise and still has the same ability/class structure as the first with the exception of two dlc characters. Halo 1 to halo 2 was really only a few gun types and dual wielding... You know why these games have such similar gameplay styles even in their sequels? Because it's fun and if it isn't broken don't fix it.!
-
That's because CoDs been using the same gameplay for several games. This is a single sequel, not the 15th with the same gameplay. Halo 1 to halo 2 was a fantastic transition, and those games had the same grenades and a couple new weapons. Borderlands 1 to borderlands 2 was a fantastic transition, with a similar class system and gunplay. I think your expectations for a sequel are dramatically skewed for Destiny.

They are because from what we were told it was a completely new adventures and with brand new ways to use the light. It was dubbed a fresh start for everything. So like myself and many others we were expecting a fresh start for well EVERYTHING

Yes, you do have new ways to use your light. That doesn't mean we throw away the old for no reason. Your expectations for a fresh start are so dramatically skewed. Again, let me tell you borderlands 1 to borderlands 2 was a "fresh start". You still had the commando/soldier, sniper/assassin, a siren, and the berserker headstrong character. What made those classes interesting for the duration of two games was that they worked well. Destiny 1's grenades worked fantastically for the game. I'm sure they'll work fantastically for destiny 2.

작성자: Dog_Of_War_1138 6/15/2017 3:08:14 AMThe grenades were your ONLY example. Frankly I'd be happier if the number of grenades and weapons and abilities were REDUCED, PvP would become more competitive and balanced if there were fewer tactical options to deal with and fewer things to surprise you... but hey, that's Destiny.

작성자: The Third Man 1 6/13/2017 6:23:31 PMHow did the post go over their head? Did the reply go over you're head. Its happened in the majority of over competitors that destiny has and yet nobody has complained. Even franchises way older than destiny have been running from the same grenades. Like halo, their third added two grenades that haven't really been seen since, it took them a new company to add one new grenade and its still nowhere near the total amount destiny has.

I'm shit at maths but I'm pretty sure that there are 27 Grenades... not wanting to be picky or anything, but 3 classes, each with 3 sub-classes that have 3 Grenades each... 3x3x3 = 27 – Albeit there are only actually 21 Types of grenade... ;)
-
Oh yeah I know... I'm still counting 21 though not 18, but I'm old and like I said I'm terrible at Maths... basically that means Bungie now still owe us 6 more grenade types, so Garaa194 is sort of right ;) – They've had 3 years and so far zippo... unless you count the Grenade launcher that we're gonna get our hands on soon... I'll settle for that
