do you know what meta actually means?
if you know don't say it. just say yes.
i feel like people throw the term meta around left and right but actually don't know what it means ahaahaha

2 답변I see a lot of people saying it's an acronym for "Most Effective Tool Available" Nope. Metagaming has been a thing long before destiny. It's the use of exploits or strategies in a game that give you an upper hand against other players. Like a BXR combo on Halo or a reload cancel on a NLB. It's applied to weapon load outs, class setup, and equipment as well.

I could think that META is short for [i]metamorphosis[/i] and refers to how a game changes over time. With no reason to believe that's not the truth I'll say, "Oh yes, I know exactly what it means". 2 답변There are many definitions and their applications vary per subject. [spoiler]In the case of a competitive team-based game, the metagame could be considered any trending set of specific gear, weapons or abilities that have a significant advantage over other sets, and are therefore the most effective and sought after. [/spoiler] [spoiler]If you're poking fun at the most common pvp setups in Destiny then we should at least provide clarity. If a considerable amount of players can use such a set and have ease with using it, more so than what they have used before then it effectively becomes a trend. Now, let's say that the current meta consists of a primary including either Eyasluna or Palindrome. If those two hand cannons handle better than the majority of other handcannons(which they do) then I'd say that they definitely qualify as a hand cannon meta. Problem is that with Destiny's gameplay, hand cannons have a particular niche with close range and medium range that most autos and pulses lack. That and that they are easily obtainable leads to such a widespread usage that kinda dignifies their place amongst primaries. [/spoiler]
