Guardians,
Ever since I watched the Destiny 2 reveal, I have been thinking about the statistic that Bungie presented. They said 50% of players have never finished a Raid. Well, I think that statistic is too high. I am looking to decrease that percentage.
I have been playing Destiny since the closed beta, and most of my time has been spent in Raids helping out. I would love to teach anyone who is interested the mechanics, as well as any tips and tricks I know. My goal is to have a bigger pool of potential Raiders for Destiny 2.
I might ask you do things you are uncomfortable with (ie running relic, sword etc) with the hope that learning how to do so will improve your potential to find a Raid group in the future. All I ask of anyone who wants to join is that you are open to constructive criticism and guidance.
If you are interested, head over to mixer.com/trueapollo and follow me. Every weekend, I will be pulling 4-5 followers to Raid. If you don't make it in to the group, or just want to watch, stick around and I'll answer any questions live. Everyone is welcome. I am currently on Xbox One, but have a PS4 as well that I might help out on in the future. For now the focus will be X1.
Apollo
Edit: We're trending! Thanks for all genuine support and comments guys. The more people willing to help out, the better the Raid experience for everyone in Destiny 1 and 2

While it is a nice gesture to help those who are inexperienced with raids, there really isn't much you can do if they're so god awful that they keep dying to small adds. There are those of us who earned their loot by being the best and learning the mechanics, and those who feel the need to lie about their abilities to make it seem like they're better than what they really are It's quite obvious who the raid noobs are. They don't have all the exotics that are popular for specific encounters (it's been 3 years), they absolutely refuse to do any specialty roles, they rage after 1 or 2 wipes, they say "I haven't done this in forever, can you refresh my memory on how the challenge works?", they try to tell you they've done the raid this week but they still get rewards, they tell you they've done it before are awarded one of the following •shroud of Ir Anuk •ravenous heart •blade of famine •whatever comes from the Wrath questline

7 답변Good luck with that. I have literally spend all weekend posting in LFG offering to help inexperienced teams and nothing. There is just nobody out there playing. There are barely a few posts looking for experienced people and that's about it And I offered my help both on PS4 and XBOX1, same result on both
