As long as the game is good I don't care that it's only 30fps. I've gotten used to it after 3 years it doesn't bother me.
Edit: Just to clarify: I'm not saying I want 30fps. I'd take 60 over 30 any day of the week. However, I'm not going to complain just because Destiny 2 is capped at 30fps. To me, gameplay/content>FPS/Graphics.

7 답변FPS doesn't make a difference. Just something to latch onto for people who want to validate their sad existence by being contrary.

2 답변Don't TVs these days just post-process some fake frames in anyway? I mean, obviously we'd prefer some real information and not 'interpretted' information from the TV, but in terms of smoothness, TVs do that anyway.

10 답변End of the day doesnt really matter 30fps means one frame per 33.33 milliseconds, average human response time is around 200 milliseconds so even at 60fps (one frame roughly per 16 milliseconds) you benefit only from being 16 milliseconds faster reaction wise......nothing to boast about and the probability is if you were going to be at a disadvantage at 30fps you more than likely still would be at 60. People need to realise for Destiny consoles cant cope with 60fps at 4k res, the hardware just isn't capable.

2 답변I care, it's 2017, time to get with the program bungie. 60fps across the board with dedicated servers. Don't feed the community BS about console limitation, because there are people that will actually believe that garbage and parrot it back to everyone else in the community that is pissed at the 30 frames cap. Battlefield games run at 60fps with 64 players, destructible environments and explosions out the wazoo but D2 will be too much for the current gen consoles at 60fps? Bungie plz.

1 답변It's a consistency issue for me. I'd rather take a consistent 30fps over a 'usually 60'fps.

2 답변Me, couldnt give a -blam!-, cant tell the difference, no matter how many times i look at it side by side. Believe me ive tried, maybe i have slow eyes or something, someone show me some footage where i can specifically see a difference and point it out to me. Ive also heard that 30 is closer to cinematic frame rates, which means the cutscenes and gameplay will feel more cinematic? Im fine with that.

1 답변I'm irritated to say the least. 60fps on consoles would've been a seller to me, even if the game works the same as the previous one. But no dedicated servers, 30fps, lack of innovative looking gameplay. I'm going to wait before I inevitably buy it.

1 답변It bothers me not because so much of "Destiny" since I will get it on PC (after more info is released) but the fact that it sets gaming back in general. No one in 2017 should be happy with 30fps on FPS game esp. PVP modes. Regardless if it affects you personally or not you should call companies out when they take steps back. Then again people are happy to pay full game and have content locked behind DLC/micro transactions ets so the developers will keep releasing half baked shit and milk us more. I believe their engine is shit and they had to release something fast to make monies. There's no way the PS4 cannot do 60fps, even if particles effects/blur had to be scaled down slightly. No one would even complain if it dipped to 40fps during intense RAID challenges. Then you have the "No Dedicated Servers" thingy which is clearly omitted because they don't want to spend any dollars and thus maximizing their profits considering everyone will buy it anyways. Three years later the red-bars will still be a thing.

could not give any less of a shit that its 30fps... still looks -blam!-ing amazing anyway... to those that say "look up a side by side comparison video then say you dont care" i have done this a few times and sometimes i can see a very tiny difference but most times i see no difference at all... eigther my eyesight is -blam!-ed more than i think, or people get so needy over an extra 1% that isnt needed to make a game good.

1 답변It's disappointing but I'm not surprised I think it's funny they blamed old gen for this and even when they dropped it they still can't deliver

Way I see it is if destiny on older platforms such as Xbox 360 etc, ran at 30fps on destiny 1. why exactly do we have Xbox one and PS4 now that run at the same fps? Aren't they better consoles? Destiny 2 should atleast be 60fps on PS4 pro or it's no better than the original PS4.
