So theres not going to be anything In game leading to destiny two at all
yeh not like we need a cliffhanger ending to destiny two, nah we will just leave the game and go read what happens to eris on the grimour, and hope this is explained in destiny two :/
Edit: this was more about my consern they explain Eris leaving the tower in a card and most of the people I talk to don't read the cards

3 답변I mean, Destiny and Destiny 2 isn't all about Eris, what about the Exo Stranger, the Queens Brother, the Nine, Osiris, Toland, etc? We can't just focus on one character and ask what happened to them thus ignoring every other character that has vanished or has been left in a cliff hangar of some sort. Also the Eris Grimore wasn't the only Grimore we were left with, keep that in mind too.

19 답변Just play the outbound signal mission dear, good enough. What do you expect? How many other games really have an update that changes for it sequel? Also what type of lead up could they do, the attack was a surprise we know that; the last call teaser shows the vanguard where in the middle of a meeting when it started.

1 답변At one point I would agree with you however reading through this thread has brought me to a different perspective, and that is storytelling perspective. If Destiny were a written story, it would be what is considered first person perspective. "First Person Narrator: Definition. First person narrative is a point of view (who is telling a story) where the story is narrated by one character at a time. This character may be speaking about him or herself or sharing events that he or she is experiencing" Therefore, we shouldn't know what is happening with other characters unless our character is present. So perhaps we could find out through word of mouth, which may or may not be accurate. Girmore cards should be accessible in game however.

1 답변I was hoping they would get rid of all the fallen in the solar system the day before Destiny 2 and put burning banners and armor where they used to spawn.

1 답변I could see them starting the game with us on a patrol, cayde or zavala give us new weapons and armor and tell us to test it out and ask us to leave our currently equipped gear behind cause they want us only using the new stuff. That would be a good intro for returning players. People starting new characters could have a completely different start, I remember seeing or reading something a while back that originally destiny had 3 different starts depending on the race you chose. Exo, human, and awoken all started differently but that was scrapped. New players could start in the city during the invasion since we see cayde and zavala rallying troops in 2 different locations in the trailer.
