This the right strategy for Atheon Challenge?
Just wanted to make sure I have the right strategy in mind.
encounter begins with three players on each plate.
Away team:
Calls out their location immediately on teleportation.
AT1 - Kills oracle number 1, helps with adds until portal opens, cleanses self, then immediately heads through it. Steps on summoning plate and helps with supplicants.
AT2 - Kills oracle number 2, helps with adds until portal opens, cleanses self, then immediately heads through it. Steps on summoning plate and helps with supplicants.
Relic Holder - Picks up relic, kills adds, kills oracle number 3, stays inside portal to cleanse people on their way out until all oracles down, then heads out to cleanse the last few players and begin damage phase.
Home team:
Opens correct plate asap upon teleportation.
HT1 - Heads into portal the instant it's open, helps with adds, then kills oracle 4, gets cleansed, then leaves.
HT2 - Heads into portal the instant it's open, helps with adds, then kills oracle 5, gets cleansed, then leaves.
Plate Holder - Holds portal open and kills supplicants until players start coming back through. Then heads inside, helps with adds, kills oracle number 6, then leaves with relic holder.
Damage Phase:
Weapons of Light + Time's Vengeance + Sleeper Simulant + Super = Atheon dead in 1 or 2 phases.

1 답변So the challenge is everyone must kill only one Oracle in the Oracle phase. This isn't too hard to grasp my friend. You build the portal like you always would, and the Relic dude stands in the area where you kill the Oracles. The 3 building the plate jump in, and back out for Damage phase. Simplified even more for your convenience! 1. Atheon teles 3 guys 2. Kill 3 Oracles inside the portal. One per person. 3. Build portal. 4. 2 in portal come back to main room to keep portal open. Relic guy stays behind just in case 5. Portal team rushes into portal to kill Oracles 6. Damage Phase "Hardest challenge yet in Destiny" B.S. Unless the timer is strict, there's nothing really to this challenge. I think Oryx Challenge is still harder.

3 답변Do people still call out their location? It's much easier just to look at the radar and go that direction.

2 답변yup. And here's a tip I saw on YouTube yesterday: If the relic holder faces away from Atheon during the damage phase, everyone else can shoot rockets/tether/golden guns while inside the shield.

9 답변Just a heads up when shooting sleeper at oracle 5 or 6, the ledges behind them cause wicked ricochets. I ended up knocking out 3 oracles with 1 sleeper shot.

If im relic holder i usually kill 5th oracle and then leave asap and go to mid plate, so that 4 players can start shooting when dmg phase starts and last person who was holding portal open runs there couple seconds later. U dont have to callout where u teleported unless ur team is playing without hud or they are blind folded, they can just check radar where teleported players are...

1 답변We did something similar but we had the relic holder destroy the 6th and final oracle. 1 & 2 take out their corresponding oracles. Once the portal opens 3 & 4 run in and shoot their oracles. Once 1 leaves, followed by the rest, 5 goes in and shoot his. Relic holder smashes 6 and heads out to the middle platform presenting the shield and removing the darkness from anyone who was going dark. Mileage may vary but that's how we were successful.

How we did it. 3 ported, each kill an oracle. The door should be opened by now. 2 people run in the door as soon as possible (only need 1 guy outside) Last guy should run in fast as the first 2 should be running out same time the 2 run in

Basically, no one on the inside said anything except for "heading out" and the people outside worked out the order going in so we made the swap calls like the plates in Kings fall. Heading out, heading in. Relic holder called which oracle was next and just stood there with cleanse up at the portal. Ocassionally relic holder had to call Oracle 4 or 5 for themselves though. The only person who should have a preferential call on the oracles should be relic holder. Downed him at the start of the second damage phase. Tooting my own horn but I got the Vex! Woo!

3 답변Now getting these crap LFG teams to get their oracle kill is a whole other challenge. Seriously dude i don't care your oracle was stolen 3x. Just get your cleanse near the portal and shoot the next oracle. These bafoons.

작성자: Rd2425 4/5/2017 3:27:23 AMWhat we did was three teleport in . They shoot one and two. Meanwhile as soon as the gate opens the rest of the team goes in everybody but one. Call out their numbers as soon as they go in. And everybody just stay in there when they start to shoot down number 5 everybody come out and six goes in. We liked it like that because there was no chance of getting blown up on accident with everybody inside the portal.tether the ground if people are getting blown up coming out. Works good we did all three runs rather fast that way. It was a lfg team. So I always noticed with less moving Parts the better. With everybody already in you don't get confused with all the swapping

3 답변There's no need for a plate holder; once the portal is open, it stays open, since the only way it will close is when Atheon starts his next phase or minotaurs stand in the plate. There are no minotaurs at that point.
