I started in year 2 and had no problem playing the year 1 content. When did they take it away?

Apperantly i missed that they deleted Vog and CE after year 1..... how else have they taken away content. 🤔

Up to this point (correct me if I am wrong) but eververse only sells cosmetic stuff which does not affect the game so is not needed to progress in the game. You have consistently complained about pretty much everything in the game, from paid to free content, but look at your hours you have put into it. You cant dislike it that much as you keep playing. Lets break it down content wise from what I can remember: The Dark Below: Apparently cut content from the original game (paid DLC) House of Wolves: Re-hashed old content with no new enemies and missions run backwards (paid DLC) The Taken King: Yes we get the Dreadnaught but most taken enemies are re-hashed (paid DLC) Rise of Iron: About half of the content was re-hashed cosmodrome areas. (paid DLC) My point being the pattern started to emerge from as early as The Dark Below with anyone that has an ounce of intelligence as you claim you have to see what was happening, so what I see is someone who has complained about Destiny, the DLCs and how they rip us off but they have bought all of them to date and have put a ton of hours into the game. Why would someone who is so bitter towards Bungie want to throw more money at them? Why did you not stop at HOW when it was blatantly obvious what they were doing?Talk about hipocrisy! TLDR; The OP is a hypocrite, as for myself and probably many others, I am happy with the content whether it was a paid DLC or free content like sparrow racing, festival of the lost etc. I have played this game more than any other game in my gaming history (from the 80s) and I now look forward to a new start in D2. I am not bitter as the good times far outweigh the bad and you cant please everybody all of the time, or in the OPs case none of the time!

It's not cool to hate on what's popular anymore. You know what is cool is that we're still getting regular updates 2 and a half years into the games life cycle. I would have preferred regular dlc but if destiny 2 makes up for the content drought I'll be more than satisfied. Why don't you go troll some walking dead or star wars forums about how shit is dying instead. You won't have much success there either, lol.

OMG, I've never looked at it this way. You have opened my eyes. Bungie is brainwashing us with minimul effort. They are just reskinning and rehashing things they have made before. -blam!- can you believe it! Its almost the same game as Halo 1. And look at all the money I spent on it. I didn't have any fun and it was never worth its value. eh? Maybe Destiny 2 will be different. Maybe they call it destiny because you don't have a choice and you must play it. You must bitch about it. And you better tell people to open their eyes when you exit the Matrix.

That's what I was saying all this time. Why would they do this to their players? Apparently money talks a lot and many players will just take it up the rear end. This leads Destiny 2 into a negative light in my opinion. Destiny was going decent, even though year one was practically paid beta, until Eververse showed up. This pave the road to Paid RNG. Just sad that the title is heading that direction.

Why are you so upset that there are people that enjoy a game you don't? If I like a game I'm gonna play it, it's that simple.

If you were to have played WoW since launch, assuming to sub fee has remained the same (which it probably hasn't), you would have spent well over 2200 dollars. For 3 years (longer than destiny has been out) it'd be $540. That doesn't count expansions and micro transactions. Some other MMOs are even more expensive. We've gotten a hell of a bargain. I've had fun in my 2 and 1/2 years playing destiny. The kind of fun you really can't put a price on, though people like you may try. There's absolutely no reason for you to be so salty about anything. But I guess you have nothing better to do, right?

I have fun playing the game. It's really that simple. Bungie has made some bad decisions over the past 3 years and they haven't been the best developers ever, but they did make a good game in my opinion, so I'm going to play it. If that makes me a mindless sheep, so be it. Also, good for you. You're just so much more enlightened than the rest of us "gullible" players. I'm sure your mom's proud of you, jumping on the "I hate Destiny, everyone that still plays Destiny is a sheep" bandwagon. Way to think for yourself.

Yet you still play

Why still play the game if you are disappointed in them then? 🤔🤔 if I had this much hate towards bungie I would've quit a long time ago... First off, they never took anything away from us, all the old raids were still there and we were still able to play them whenever we wanted. This content is celebrating Destiny 1 as a whole, but each other DLC that dropped in the game made you get better gear so that people could play the most current content. Why would anybody want to play VoG when Kings Fall was out and new, everyone would be focused on kings fall. Now that Destiny 1 is coming to an end, they give us a revamp of everything that has happened over the years. To be honest I see nothing wrong with this DLC and why anyone would complain about it...

I don't really get these type of threads. 1. This is free content for everyone who consistently plays destiny. 2. Bringing back the raids is one of the most talked about and asked about topics. 3. If you don't like micro transactions then don't buy the crap. I know I don't. I play all the new content when it's released and when I get tired of it I move on to other games. No other game has kept me coming back for more like destiny has. Bungie defiantly had its problems with destiny, but for the most part I have loved the experience. Anyway I'm going back to perusing the forums. Argue amongst yourselves.

Yup, this game is stupid. Siva version of the same enemy, taken version of the same enemy. Weapons stripped then we are happy when we get it back. Best gear made useless, and hunters. So dumb.
