Yes, I know, I'm trying to bring religion into the most toxic branch of the forums out there. So try not to say anything too mean, I very sensitive feelings.
Are you done writing mean things in the comments yet? If you haven't go ahead now, I'll wait.
Anyway, on to why I'm writing this. There are over 4,200 religions in the world that believe in a deity of some sort, and only ONE that doesn't. Some of those religions have merely hundreds of followers, some have close to a billion. Do you believe in the justice system of America? Where do you think it got its basis? Atheism? Hardly, atheism teaches that we are nothing more than highly evolved animals, which means that we have no responsibility of any sort but to eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die. Islam? That teaches that anyone who doesn't agree with you should be slaughtered. Last I checked that doesn't comply with "Freedom of Religion." Isn't it such a funny coincidence that our "highly enlightened" justice aligns perfectly with what we find in the Bible. If you're wondering what that is, its the Christian book that people swear by in court and when they enter office. Plus we believe it is the Word of God. Christianity has had a hard time, over the years it has been picked on by about every different nation ever to exist, from the most powerful empires, to now even the freest of countries, America. That's right, being a Christian is a death wish if you're trying to teach college, but wait, they just looooooooove when muslims want to teach. "Freedom of Religion" Uh-huh. But despite all this it has become the largest religion in the world, without promoting a message of convert or die. (Now I know people will bring up the crusades as a big problem with what I said, but the actions of the crusaders were not in line with what Christianity teaches. That's all I'm going to say on this subject.) So since I have pretty much proved Christianity to be the religion that is most likely to be true out of all the religions, I now move on to the next point: Why you should care. There is something out there called (insert name here)'s gamble. And it say that there are four options.
Option #1: You believed in God and he exists.
You are now going to spend eternity in pure joy and bliss, happier than you ever thought possible.
Option #2: You believed in God and he doesn't exist
You didn't really lose much, you still got to pursue a career. (As long as it wasn't in education)
You could still do still live a normal life, you just couldn't swear, have your Sundays as a free day, and participate in immoral activities. ( You know what I mean)
Option #3: You didn't believe in God and he doesn't exist
You got to enjoy the world to its full potential. Which isn't actually that much. You ate, drank, and were merry, and now you're dead.
Option #4: You didn't believe in God and he does exist
You enjoyed this world, and are now facing eternal damnation. In other words eternal torture.
Imagine the most horrible, terrible torture/death you can imagine. That is what hell is like except much, much worse. But you will be there for eternity, yet you will never die, you will never stop feeling the pain. Its like a nightmare that you never wake up from.
Now its time for some Q and A!!!!
Q: God is really mean to do that to people. I thought he was loving and kind. I don't like him
A: Well since God created you, you kind of owe him. So when you make him mad, and you do it hundreds of times every day, it kinda makes him wish you didn't exist. But God is a god of justice, and since God is infinite (Theology and stuff), you're sin has infinite expense, but you cant blast a human with infinite punishment. It just doesn't work, so instead God spreads it our over eternity. Its just justice, and in fact I deserve it just as much as you do. But God was nice enough to send his son, who was also God at the same to earth so he could be spat on, mocked, and nailed to a crude wooden structure (with real nails), and left there to die. But though every one of us has participated in crucifying Jesus, his death has opened a way to avoid that justice we deserve. You see when Jesus died God piled on him the punishment of every human who ever live or would live. He blasted him with the infinite punishment of every human that ever sinned, but Jesus came out still standing, because he was God. All we have to do is believe in him, and we are good to go!
Q: Then why do I have to live so and so like
A: Because if you're trying to make an excuse to do those things, you don't really appreciate just what he went through to purchase this for you, you're just saying "Thanks, now I'm going to go eat, drink, be merry, and then enter heaven." Christ endured more pain and suffering than we could possibly imagine, so if we truly believe that, and we also believe we were headed to hell, we wouldn't just respond with a "Thanks." We will try our hardest to glorify him.
Sorry I'm about to hit the text limit and I'm kind of burned out from working on this too long, so that all, I will be posting another letter about Christianity titled, Christianity: How it works with science. See you then!

Islam is a religion of peace only ISIS believe that anyone who does not agree with them shall be executed I do Religious Studies and I know quite a bit of knowledge about Islamic people and why they are mis-enterprited. Islam do not believe "Violence is the answer" infact it was born from christianity. When ISIS first started preaching and saying "Allah wanted us to do -example-" it is completely wrong and ISIS are not true muslims. The Islamic faith do not condone executions of any sorts and do not mind if other people have different beliefs. Next time you say this I will repeat this exact reply... do some research before making false statements just to make christianity look good.

I like to think i do nice things because I'm a nice person, not because a god tells me to. If there is a god, surely He would still accept a kind soul regardless of their religious beliefs if He is believed to be a benevolent god. I avoid religion because of the lack of evidence behind it and the dangers of human interpretation (how many deaths came at the hands of religion).

1 답변I'm sure the hate died down a lot on this forum, at least, so no offense but this post is way ahead of its time. I'm mostly an agnostic who appreciates and defends\defended Christianity back in the day with people like Noiseless purse, crazy Lincoln, and mad max, (to name a few infamous anti-theists) (and on a side note Mad Max is not a cancerous Anti theist so what little respect I have of him, I can confirm it exists), on the forums here. Honestly I do appreciate the sentiment of this post, there are way too many angsty teens or Anti theists. They stopped demonizing Christianity a while ago, like summer time 2016 i think, so if this post does anything, its gonna bring that shit back, and I feel like I would have to come back out of the woodwork to defend it again, which I really do not wanna do. So if you will keep this post up, you better -blam!-ing stay here with me to defend your religion some more and more, until everyone stops, or one side does.
that believe in a deity of some sort, and only ONE that doesn't.
Atheism isn't a religion nor is it a single belief. All babies are atheists, you can believe the world is a triangle but as long as you don't think there's a deity, you're an atheist. It's like all religions make up half a circle and atheism/agnostic beliefs make the other.
Some of those religions have merely hundreds of followers,
Numbers don't change 'fact' if you follow a religion you believe it's fact. Otherwise you're agnostic
Do you believe in the justice system of America?
No, it has biases and stupid sentences for laws that shouldn't exist
Where do you think it got its basis? Atheism?
Atheism isn't a belief or a set of teachings, it's like saying 'do you think horses founded Africa'
Hardly, atheism teaches that we are nothing more than highly evolved animals,
Atheism doesn't teach anything. Religions do
which means that we have no responsibility of any sort
Who said that?
Islam? That teaches that anyone who doesn't agree with you should be slaughtered.
And so did the bible. The difference is the bible went through many edits by smart popes trying to appeal more liberal for a majority in the west. The Middle East is conservative and the Quran didn't go through as many changes to be appealing
Last I checked that doesn't comply with "Freedom of Religion."
Saying something is different to the action
Isn't it such a funny coincidence that our "highly enlightened" justice aligns perfectly with what we find in the Bible.
lol no, it's not illegal to cheat, wear different fabrics, work on Sunday ect.
If you're wondering what that is, its the Christian book that people swear by in court and when they enter office.
People also wear suits when doing that. Suits don't then by default become magical
Plus we believe it is the Word of God.
I don't, you probably cherry pick what words you hear too.
Christianity has had a hard time, over the years it has been picked on by about every different nation ever to exist,
So has Islam and more recently Jews, with the whole hitler thing. What's your point?
from the most powerful empires, to now even the freest of countries, America. That's right, being a Christian is a death wish if you're trying to teach college
, No it isn't. Christians make a majority of America. Most college teachers are statistically Christian.
but wait, they just looooooooove when muslims want to teach. "Freedom of Religion" Uh-huh.
What...
But despite all this it has become the largest religion in the world,
And It's slowing down, give it a decade or two and it'll be islam again
without promoting a message of convert or die. (Now I know people will bring up the crusades as a big problem with what I said, but the actions of the crusaders were not in line with what Christianity teaches.
lol. That's what Christianity taught at the time. You can't complain about Muslims now when you excuse others then
That's all I'm going to say on this subject.) So since I have pretty much proved Christianity to be the religion that is most likely to be true out of all the religions,
No you didn't, you went on a rant about how poor little you are a victim. Gays for decades have been victims, let's be gay cause it's right
I now move on to the next point: Why you should care. There is something out there called (insert name here)'s gamble.
So 'don't kill non believers, torture them forever, something much worse'
But you will be there for eternity, yet you will never die, you will never stop feeling the pain. Its like a nightmare that you never wake up from.
Moral of the post, killing is bad if you're Islamic but effectively killing someone 100 times is k cause Christians
Q: God is really mean to do that to people. Moral of the story, doesn't matter who you are, op is stupid and doesn't understand the bible, the government, amendments, religion, punishment and justice and atheism. Nothing to see here

Why do you believe humans are so high and mighty anyways? Like, why do you believe we have this Grand purpose of being here? Humans are just really another animal here on Earth doing our thing. And what's wrong with just enjoying your life? I'd prefer to live my life however I see fit and not have to constantly worry about having to suffer eternal damnation because of it.
