Today we find out there will be no more vault space.
Rise of iron has been out for months, with bungie never addressing the community's need for more storage, until today.
Basically bungie has known for weeks, at least, possibly all along, that no more storage was coming, but was too chickenshit to admit it until today.
Add it to the long list of outright lies, and I'm not even surprised.
Bungie has a consistent track record of avoiding the issue, allowing the community to get rightfully frustrated, only to finally respond way too late. Typical signs of no organization and amateur leadership.
Now watch the fan boys get angry and try to respond to undeniable facts.

Well, Bungie knew they weren't gonna give us any vault space. How do I know? Cause there were silent about it. If they said "NO VAULT SPACE" from the beginning when ROI came out, how many people would purchase items from "Festival of the Cost" or "the Dawning"? Let's look at this way: 1) They kept quiet. They got more money. We were fools to think that they were gonna increase vault space. 2) Remember the reason for micro-transactions? It's to increase the budget for D1 live content. That in turn would hire more resources to build better experiences for live content. SO how was the live content? a) Festival of the Lost - SUCKED. It was copy of the past devs with new gear and we got a holiday kiosk. b) The Dawning - OK but SRL was the same and we got a revamp of the holiday kiosk. 3) SO the question is: a) Do 100% of the money earned from mirco-transactions go towards improving live content experiences? b) If not, were is the resources to create these live content experiences Deej addressed? So all in all, I think Destiny did it for the money and again if they told us after Taken King we will not be expanding vault space from now until D2 then I am almost positively sure that the outcome of micro-transactions would be different. They chose to keep silent to give us ambiguous hope about vault space and then had us buy stuff. This is just one of the lies or in this case they took advantage of the consumers.

They added more kiosks with Festival of the Lost and the Dawning. This was their solution. Guess you will just have to get by with the 108 weapons and 108 pieces of armour you can store in your vault in addition to the 90 of each that each guardian can carry. I know.. so hard done by.

3 답변"we are working on it" does not mean that they promised us shite. We are working on it could mean they are working towards better vault options for D2? Perhaps they DID intend on having more vault space for D1 and then business happened. Ya know, where you go into work thinking you are going to do "said" thing, but business goals change and you have to work on this other "said" thing. Stop assuming that just because he said "we are working on it" that he meant that D1 will have more vault space. Literally no where, in any podcast or reveal, or twitch, or weekly update did they ever. EVER. Promise us more vault space. Promise being the key word. Stop spreading this nonsense. A ton of forum users are claiming they were wronged and blah blah blah when at the end of the day, nothing was promised. Life lesson learned. Don't get your hopes up, because your hopes aren't always reality.

2 답변Exactly where in that quote that every one seems to always fall back to using when talking about the [i]promised[/i] vault space did Scott Taylor specifically state what they were working on was in fact an increase?? I'm not saying Bungie is innocent on this particular issue, far from it, but it was the community that built up this whole 'Bungie said they are given us more space' premise - not Bungie and so the bulk of the blame for this so-called lie falls on the community. Bungie just didn't do themselves any justice by quashing the rumors early on, especially if it was known before now. ** sips tea ** I'll point out is that the only thing they added after RoI was released (aka the so-called day one) was two kiosks.. One for the Holiday / Event items and another for the Silver Dust items.. Neither of which I consider to be solutions that make for a good experience. Honestly, I think the Silver Dust kiosk came about due to the backlash regarding how the silver dust was first introduced and how it was handled. What I would have liked to seen were some QoL (quality of life) changes - like having an increase to the stack sizes of consumables, being able to sort or filter the items in my vault, having a separate section for consumables and upgrade materials. The only thing that I'll agree on is that they probably have known for some time, and they only now announce it. Typical Bungie transparency...

We are not getting fountains of new items. How about you clear out some of the shit you never use in the first place? I can understand keeping certain things for arbitrary and personal reasons, but do you need EVERY item you've acquired?

3 답변I'm not for or against more vault space...but I have 1 question, why do you bother to keep every set of armor and weapon you get? Why does it matter? 99% of the things you keep will do nothing for you. Unless you take out and wear all the armor sets every day, I just don't see the point of saving everything. My vault has NEVER filled more than 1 page of space

have you tried "Deleting" all your Year 1 garbage? I have 3 sets of armor, 1 for each Classes sub class, and i still have 80 spaces for armor and 30 spaces for Weapons.... How are you hording so much Junk? it doesn't make any sense to me... Clear the crap out you haven't used in 6 months or more... I have 3 year 1 items saved, my Gally, Fatebringer and Murmer, that's it.... I have plenty of vault space for all the new/used items coming....

so its agree with you or im a fanboy? what if they WANTED to increase vault space (and no downsides), but they just recently gave up on it after fruitless attempts to do so? saying "no more" after RoI could have shot themeselves in the foot too, hence the safe route they took. no facts from you or me, all we can do is speculate and extrapolate.
