After seeing yet another pointless "discussion", and being dumb enough to get involved, I realized something. Why do people debate here?(And by debate I mean both actual debate and blindly spewing insults because their different opinion hurts you) Id be willing to bet that 99.999% of "debates" here result in neither opinion being swayed in either direction. Which doesnt that defeat the point of debate in the first place? Or is online debating just a way of boosting ones own ego?
