So Truth Was Nerfed Out of Existence
What is the point of taking the mag from 3 to 1? Why would anyone EVER use this weapon now?
EDIT
I'm not usually one to cry about nerfed or buffs, but this was my first exotic. I took this thing into the Vault of Glass and kicked Atheon's @ss. So to see it become completely worthless is sad.

I still don't understand the logic. Some have said, according to statistics it's because it was the most used exotic heavy in the crucible - that is not a good argument. Heavy ammo only spawns once in a match and you only get three rounds, additionally you lose the ammo with a death. Personally I can count on one hand the number of times I have been killed by it in the last six months. Now that's not representative of everyone's experience, but a consistent reading of the forums has never revealed any complaints. Is it a ToO issue? I don't play ToO, so I don't know. If it is then this a case of tyranny by a minority of players. I have always preferred using it in PVE to complete void kill and heavy bounties. Guess it's just another exotic shard now.

This sandbox team should all get fired immediately, I mean really what was the purpose of a gun balance ?? To stop use of a few scout, pulse & shotys in PvP. So why does PvE always get kicked in balls when they do a "balance" for PvP ?? And has anyone heard any complaints about heavies ?? Bungie needs to adapt the Patriots motto "Just DO Your Job"

9 답변I don't like it, but I understand why it got nerfed. Whenever I used to go into PvP at all, I would look at my primary and secondary and be like "no exotic? Truth." I'm willing to bet it's the most used gun for the heavy slot in PvP.

2 답변This is the one thing that jumped out at me with this update and totally do not get it. WTF makes Truth an exotic now, just the high velocity? I have the a legendary Choleric Dragon that holds 3 in the tube and has tracking, also the stats are pretty close to what Truth has minus the high velocity. Unto Dust same, has 3 in the tube with tracking but will admit the stats compared to Truth are not up to par. The best though is I have a Titanium Orchid with 3 in the tube/tracking, and the status I would argue are way better than Truth and a higher velocity. They might be better off putting an explanation behind some of these things. Some are obvious, but in this example it would be good to know the why.

2 답변So basically I can get a blue weapon wth high velocity and blast radius wth tracking and 2 rounds in the mag and just get rid of truth

I'm usually pro bungie In support much of what they do with this game but I happen to agree with you here. Whilst having 3 in the tube could be deemed overpowered reducing it down to 1 is a little harsh. Now I've 'been there done that' popped off three quick rockets with truth and gotten a bunch of kills in the crucible and I can see why that can be a problem. You can literally point it in the general direction and rely on the tracking. But if truth really needed a nerf then reducing the mag to 2 rockets would bring it inline with Gjallahorn
