So Truth Was Nerfed Out of Existence
What is the point of taking the mag from 3 to 1? Why would anyone EVER use this weapon now?

I'm not usually one to cry about nerfed or buffs, but this was my first exotic. I took this thing into the Vault of Glass and kicked Atheon's @ss. So to see it become completely worthless is sad.

For pvp it's still an excellent rocket, just not a jack of all trades as it was. Regardless of the reduction it's still a high velocity and blast radius launcher with tracking and proximity. It'd be interesting if they added in clown cartridge to it imo.

6 답변I really don't understand, why it was necessary to nerf The Truth. In PvE it was not bad and in PvP it was almost replaced by Gjallarhorn. Almost everybody used Gjallarhorn in PvP. IT MAKES NO SENSE!

100% agree. A mag of 1 is pathetic. Truth is an EXOTIC FFS. It's a CHOICE. If you equip it, you're choosing not to equip any other Exotic weapon. Logically, some RL has to the the "best" for Crucible, right? With that (formerly) being Truth, at least that required your Exotic slot. WTF was wrong with that? NOTHING. Now, if that Exotic slot is free because you have a purple primary and purple special that are the far and away the best in PVP, then perhaps Bungie needs to ensure that there are even better Exotic choices in those slots. A Matador 64 [i]shouldn't[/i] have ever been a better choice than an exotic shotgun - if Bungie had things balanced correctly in the first place. (Yeah, Bungie and balance together in a sentence is laughable, I know.)

6 답변If I choose to use a rocket in PvP, Truth will always be my first choice. So what if it has only 1 round in the magazine, can't you reload and re-engage?

Speaking with a member of my raid team today... apparently, he was getting wrecked in Trials by Truth a lot (strangely appropriate, that). So it may have been more popular than some of us realize. Even with its capacity reduced, it will hopefully retain its banana tracking, and therefore be sort of useful.

5 답변It's still good for pve. Apparently it was to dominate in pvp and that is why they nerfed it. At first I was upset over it, now don't care. Galli is going to be the new dominate launcher in pvp now.

The nerf to Truth I understand the motivation, but I think that the logic is wrong. Truth should not be nerfed because it isn't over powered. They should have made other options more appealing. Have Truth pick up less ammo per box, or slightly boost the legendary grenade and horseshoe perk. The change just too lazy.

How can it be nerfed out of existence if it is still the most tracking RPG in the game, and "if you point it at someone, they're dead"? You guys are being whiny little babies. If you're not gonna use the best rocket in the game because you have to press the "x" button after you shoot (or whatever the reload button is on ps4), then why do you even hold a controller?

27 답변It's honestly not even that bad, it's a skill based weapon. If you are good enough, you can destroy with it. I think most people here just aren't good enough to take advantage of it.
