please don't let gothalion EVER host bungie bounty again
i get that he wants to do it his way, and not do a countdown
but he's trashing EVERYONE, he's been defending his lack of a countdown for 20 minutes straight, and now his entire chat is toxic
he's the only streamer the entire event that hasn't done a countdown, and he KNOWS he is pissing everyone off, defending his actions, and making everything awful
it's not the worst that he's not doing a countdown, but he's treating everyone like trash, if a bungie employee was watching his stream right now, they would cut sponsorship, it's just awful, look for yourself

for those wondering what the countdown is, when bungie bounties stream, there is a delay
if you try to team up with him (or against him) by watching his stream exclusively, it will never happen; because if you team up when you see him team up, in real life he's already fighting a match
so they do a "countdown" via TEXT in the stream so everyone knows when to team up with the bungie bounty, today, Gothalion broke tradition and flat out refused to do so
not only did he refuse, he called his fans "crybabies" "meanies" "bullies" "trolls" while also telling them to "get over it" "have fun" "shut up" "do something else"
this guy is getting publicly sponsored and free advertisement on the official bungie site with the official bungie brand, this event wasn't done out of the good will of his heart on his own time, it was a business contract
i don't care either way, i want the emblem, i'm maxed grimoire, and don't care who i earn it from, but today was a travesty, *Gothalion's actions cannot go unnoticed, it was a complete dud to participate today, he bitched on stream for over an hour, and continued to do so even after the event was over

Whether that is through their humor, skill, knowledge, etc. They know that their followers got them to where they are and they treat them that way. I just cannot respect people like Professor Broman or Gothalion because they have lost sight of what got them to the place they are in now. Edit: Fixed spelling error.

The last time I interacted in his stream was when he was getting salty over his Titan T-Rexing during a "meleenade" stream and I sarcastically suggested he invest in a rack (tortue rack) to stretch his arms out a bit. Got banned by him.

Dude your status notification (grimoire 5545) says everything I need to know about you. Awww your ****hurt that you didn't get the emblem that's too bad. Given the rng nature of this game I'm glad that he didn't do a count down versus telegraphing to people like you exactly when he was going in. Seriously grow up, it's an emblem not life or death.

First and foremost, this wasnt a business contract or anything like that it was a 2 hour event. Secondly, I watch and support him every day so if you did that you'd know he was simply being how he always is. He deals with the scum of this community DAILY. People who are so desperate for a piece of digital loot that has no merit really for them to threaten him and his family is not right. So hes well within his rights to it however he wanted. He's far more successful than anyone here so as he said deal with it. He didn't want everybody to cue against him and get it he wanted random people to get it, why is that a bad thing? No rules where put it place by bungie to say he had to do a countdown!

So you telling me that I actually had a few chances to match up with him randomly ?? Without watching his twitch and by just enjoying the crucible for what it is and solo queuing?? Hell I don't give two shits for this goth guy, but personally it sounds like he just tried to help the casual pvp destiny player. But then again with sbmm I doubt Ill get qued with streamers. Rocking all kinds of high K/D and what not. Thanks goth guy 👍

People need to realize gothalions not just some dude who plays video games on camera. He's an entertainer and he is a character at that. I like his personality and think people are just being too sensitive. Relax and don't take everything he says and does personally. He is also one of the creators behind guardian con which helped raise the most money a video game charity event ever raised so I think the guy deserves to be where he's at.

I was just walking and the front of my big toe felt weird and with each step as I continued to walk I could slowly feel my toe creeeping threw a hole in my sock untill it completely penetrated it and is now all alone in the rugged terrain of my boot while his brothers are all cozy in the comfort and safety of my thick warm sock. It's a rather sad story.
