2 답변What killed PVE in my opinion is the raid guns starting with King's Fall and continuing on to the current raid. VOG and Crota (no matter how you feel about the raids) had epic raid guns that had lower RNG based drops. It kept us grinding and wanting to get those guns. They had elemental primaries which were awesome for nightfalls and strikes (back when nightfalls were a challenge and worth doing.) it's a shame cause I actually thought king's fall and WOTM were actually fun raids. But the loot (especially guns) were garbage. The need to satisfy their hard core PVP crowd also nerfed most of our favorite PVE guns into the ground.

4 답변Making the game more PvP focused allowed for Bungie to stop releasing new content as often and get you to not notice that they aren't releasing new content. If you have everyone whining about PvP issues then their lack of PvE content isn't as noticeable. It's a genius move. I have seriously cut down on the amount of Destiny I play and its been great!

3 답변Why do people complain about guns being nerfed in pve? Lol is it really that hard? For the love of God pvp is the end game content! Of course they are going to cater to pvp it's more competitive. I mean I feel like this is common sense.

7 답변I'm an average PvP player who will take PvE over PvP anyday. With that said, if I'm playing Destiny at this point, I'm in the Crucible. I bet majority of the players who rarely play or no longer play are PvE only players. PvE is boring as hell now, how many times can you run the same Strike to get nothing? Let me kill the same enemies for the 60,000th time until I rank up my Vanguard to get a package I will dismantle 95% of the time. No thanks. Let me sit on LFG reading posts from socio-paths who think a Destiny Raid is mlg level to get a weapon that sucks outside of the Raid. No thanks.

It's like buying a sandwich and throwing half of it immediately into the trash. Pve and pvp together make this game what it is, not one or the other.

Dude, crucible is a completely different beast now than it was in year 1. The games play out different and weapons acted differently then compared to now. They've tweaked and changed so much in the crucible that it has even affected the PvE environment. Take any new year 3 player and drop them into vanilla crucible and they wouldn't know what hit them. Crucible during year 1 was a crazy monster. Even when thorn was a shitty hand cannon and autos were the meta. Or when they killed autos off to damn near extinction and made everyone cry for a Messenger (Adept) of their own. Or when hand cannons like Thorn or Last Word were all you needed to take out an entire team. Or when you could constantly have heavy from picking it up from those you killed. PvP now is a ghost of what it used to be. There are so many more changes that were made that I could list, but I don't want to. I enjoyed PvP in year 1 and a lot of year 2. I mostly avoid it now.

3 답변Just no HOW were the biggest focus on pve we had all raids could be done all weapons worked patrols were almost as good as the ROI patrol pve is only worth if the loot is good, because thats all that matters to people nowadays in games

PvE content in y1 actually had more playable ground then y2 and was a lot more fun. You had bigger maps that were created for crucible. Strikes were created with somewhat of a sense of exploration and more of them. VOG that is the only raid you can actually explorer without all the stupid COD borders has more playable ground. Nightfall didn't have all the extra added loot to the loot table and has more playable ground. Y1 weapons worked across the entire board. It was the only time >> I << felt more powerful. You had purple engrams that drop weapons in patrol. You had your helmit little up with a Blue Flame after you completed Nightfall. You had Primary Elementary. Gear that gave you perks to increase your ammo in your clip, that allowed you to carry an extra clip, that increased on how many rockets that could be fired from your rocket launcher etc. You had incentive in y1. Things like necrochasm that gave an incentive to run CE and run patrol. Y1 should of never been left behind with the excitement and the incentive thar was created. It's a shame Bungie is leaving this game in it's current state and is using the excuse they are working on D2.
