Why don't boosters pause in orbit.
I've spent the last ten minutes in orbit with the timer ticking down. Not because I'm choosing to stay there, bungies matchmaking is forcing me to wait while it is "looking for guardians"

It's because the planets they are orbiting have gravity, so they need to fly around it to avoid getting pulled in. If all the satellites around our orbit stayed in place, it would start raining hell on us. That's why they launch satellites into orbit at an angle, so they are slingshotted around the earth into orbit, instead of up and out, or up and down.
