Do cops say, "-blam!- white people, -blam!- Obama" when they shoot a black person?

There is most likely at least one who has done that. But I was more playing off the fact people seem to think every cop who shots a kills an black person is a racist. If you want an example that is less poking fun at recent events: Are all Muslims now members of Al Qaeda or ISIS?
-
I didn't say it wasn't. I was making a statement that just because someone is racist doesn't instantly affiliate them with a racist organization. I picked cops for my first analogy because it seems to be of popular belief that cops who shoot black people are instantly racist (even if that logic is just plain stupid).

This is a response I gave to someone else: I am blaming BLM, but not directly. The mindset of that organization is what caused this. They support the killing of cops, and they hate white people, especially Trump supporters. They have supported violence against their enemies. If you buy into that stuff, this is what happens. It's what happened with that guy who killed a bunch of cops, right? The message that BLM sends out is what caused this. I doubt that if BLM didn't promote violence like they do, the same thing would have happened. This happened because a bunch of fatherless teenagers were being riled up by violence. BLM is at some fault, if not most.

So you are drawing a connection that might not even be there? BLM formed off of cop shootings. These people said "-blam!- trump" and "-blam!- white people". That seems more like people who are unhappy with the election and bought into the news that trump is a racist. There is no reason to think BLM has any real effect on this other than drawing the media's attention to black on white hate crimes. But hate crimes like this are nothing new, ever heard of the black panthers? You can blame the publicizing of cop on black killings over any other cop killings on BLM. This right here just looks like good old home grown racism.

The grandmother of one of the suspects said that her granddaughter was a good person, and that wasn't the way they raised her. Unless she was lying, that's indefinite proof that this was not homegrown racism and was something else.

You don't go along with kidnapping and assaulting someone if you really are a good person. Just because she did well in school and behaved at home doesn't mean she didn't run with friends who were racist. If most of her friends and family are black then of course to her grandmother she would was good, there was no one she hated around.
-
Her grandmother raised her from infancy, I assume that she had a good idea of what kind of friends she had. Also, "If most of her friends and family are black then of course to her grandmother she would was good, there was no one she hated around." Are you joking me? If someone has a very strong political view, and hates the majority of people in their country, it doesn't mean that they have to be around that kind of person to expose that thought process.

It all depends on what kind of family it is. If its like some immigrant parents like my friend's have, yeah it would require being near those kinds of people because otherwise they would be afraid of getting beat for that displaying that kind of stuff around the house.

Which is why I was questioning why link it to BLM? There is no evidence to support it, there is more evidence to support "special needs man assaulted by liberals" than a BLM connection. The way to make BLM go away is to stop giving them a voice (aka media attention). They are bunch of people throwing a tantrum like a 3 year old and like a 3 year old you ignore them.

작성자: Grenade123 1/6/2017 8:02:18 PMBack to my point, you can argue it came from the media playing up trump being racist by having the support of the KKK (race motivated), add to it, they said -blam!- trump (politically motivated), and he was recently voted president elect (recent event and not the effect of home environment). You get what i am saying? The BLM link is a stretch and just giving them more credit than they deserve. I'm more inclined to blame the media for helping fuel race tensions with their wanton accusations and focusing more on race of people involved in events than the events themselves. You could have two news stories, one in which an unarmed white guy was shot and killed, another where an unarmed black guy was shot and killed. I am willing to bet the first story will get a headline of "Unarmed man killed by police" no "unarmed white man killed by police" while the second story will almost certainly run "unarmed black man killed by police". I might even dare to say BLM movement has only gotten as far as it has with the help of the media.
