I have been playing video games since I was a child and I have never witnessed so much hate, malice, ignorance and just flat out irritation In my entire life. This game makes people so angry and brings out the absolute worst in people. Video games are supposed to be fun and help people relax. Can someone please explain the epidemic that is destiny please? Thx.

8 답변작성자: Why is this happening? 1/4/2017 6:42:24 PMBecause they brought pvp into the game, and we all know damn well nobody can play for fun. It's always gotta be "I say I'm better than everyone else to make me feel good about myself." PvP and the players alike, are toxic pieces of shit.

작성자: chickengoujohn93 1/4/2017 12:08:17 PMUsually happens when content becomes stale. Normal people drift away until something new happens and all that is left is the toxic addicts looking for 30 minute Raid speed runs disgruntled by playing the same thing over again or PvP players disgruntled about the current state of the game when there are many alternatives out there from MW remastered, Battlefield 1, Titanfall and Overwatch etc. Wait until the next significant content update or game, forums are very informative rather than the toxic mess it is now.

That true. It's also why I stopped giving a -blam!- and just letting people have it, even in person. I miss the days where people were relatively cool to each other. Where the real jackasses were few, and easily avoided, now people think they can just try to rip into any opinion or thoughts (no matter how helpful they're trying to be) and act like total -blam!-ers. I still like congratulating people when they're happy about an accomplishment, but this game has been kicked into the ground by Bungie, and the community on these forums is generally toxic. The only thing I can say is give back what people give. If they're understanding and cool, be the same to them. If they start with trolling and bad behavior, give it back to them in spades.

It's not Destiny players. It's humanity. Check any public blog, forum or chat and you'll see it. It''s crossed over from the internet at a high level too, where humans think they can be toxic face to face now too.

1 답변Theres a huge amount of issues with the game. The game has been cut into 1000 pieces and sold to us at a premium. These forums which are super toxic are only a minority of the community. Whats the old saying... Give 1 customer a bad experience they will tell 100 people, give a customer a good experience they will tell 1. These are the bad experience people and should never be thought of as "the community"

1 답변If you look at your playtime there's no surprise that this would be the most toxic community you've ever come across because this is the one you've been most invested in.

Take the time to find and join a clan that caters to your needs, it may take a while but trust me the pay off will be worth it. I honestly believe that the Destiny community is awesome and have met a great set of guys and gals that I call friends not just randoms I play a video game with.

It's nothing to do with Destiny mate. It's every game these days. It's to do with the internet, not any particular game. This is an Internet forum, assholes can come on here and pretend tough/important without anybody knowing that they're full of shit.

*Forum Posters [Not Destiny players as a whole] I think you'll find that the best of the Destiny community out playing the game. Sure, you'll run into the occasional tea bagging player in the Crucible, but it overall is a great, devoted, community. I think the reason the forums seem so toxic is that this is most players' way to voice their complaints about the game. It's the same reason internet polls are never accurate- most of the people that vote are only there because they have something really good or really bad to say about the options. Really, you're mostly getting the "extremists" of the community. I also wouldn't call Destiny an epidemic, I'd just call the forums a group of frustrated people. I just try to be positive about it- after all, there's a lot to live about Destiny. TL;DR (Lol sorry) The forums aren't an accurate sample of the Destiny community as a whole, just the 'extremists' that come to voice complaints. You're definitely right, though- the forums can be extremely toxic.
