I work 10+ hours a day and work out when I come home from work. After that, all I want to do is game and if my wife or son can't respect that then they deserve to get yelled at. What kind of piece of crap person wouldn't let someone who works hard enjoy what they want without interference. My wife knows only to speak to me when I'm in orbit or in the social spaces. Other than that, she knows to shut up and watch TV/make dinner. My son (who is 5) is well behaved enough now to know to leave me be as well. I had to spank him the first time he grabbed my mic off my head thinking he was funny. Never again. He knows to stay in his room or with his mother while I'm gaming. it isn't about neglect; it is about proper respect for other people's activities. I agree, my son comes first. I've dropped out of Raids, Trials, and Crucible to get my son somthing, or just spend time with him. Enjoy the time you have with them while they're small, and needy, because eventually they'll turn into assholes, and hugs will inevitably turn into handshakes.
