We can't all "git gud"...
Sadly it's true.
For some of us with disabilities it's a meaningless (and at times hurtful) phrase thrown at us.
Our KDs are laughed at
Our ELO becomes the topic of mirth.
But we carry on regardless.
Why ?. Because our struggle is real. Every little achievement is that much sweeter because we've worked for it. It's not a natural gift of split second reflexes and hand-eye coordination but a slow often painful process where we've died a million times before doing something you've probably done in your sleep.
To anyone out there who has befriended, supported, teamed with or match made with someone with a disability,

Edit : this was meant as a thank you. Unfortunately I've been accused of demanding sympathy, pity, playing the disabled card etc. I have re-read what I wrote and I'm pretty sure I'm thanking people for their friendship and support...
But I will try again.

The phrase is annoying some ppl suck ,some are average,some are awesome as with anything ppl are gonna find a skill wall. No matter how much you practice,study ,train for your not gonna be on lvl with everyone. The 1% in this community seem to forget that.

I agree. I don't have any disabilities. Im not gonna lie and say I know people with disabilities. All I know is that I don't even get how I get achievements in this game. People who are disabled are already Legend. Whether they play Video games or not.

And you also have a good portion that are mature enough to appreciate the game for what it is and don't have to snort Doritos and inject mtn dew directly into their veins to enjoy a game or even have the desire to be any kind of sweaty. They just want to play the game because it's enjoyable, win or lose. Sadly, sportsmanship is a lost art in many competitive games today.

9 답변You've been misunderstanding things the whole time. The "Gud Scrub" is an extremely rare exotic artifact that can be equipped to any class. It instantly triples your KD, lets you ignore 90% of damage, gives Titans Blink and Hunters an overshield, permanently unlocks the lighthouse and maxes your grimoire. When people say git gud scrub, they are just being helpful Destiny Sherpas because this community is so sweet and not toxic at all

Destiny has been one of the better ones I've found but I learned pretty quick that the forums shouldn't serve as an indication to the overall quality of the game's community. I've played with some really cool people. As for stats, let's be real, if someone is looking up your stats in order to compose their next comment...they take the game too seriously. I played IB and half the time I ran the opposite direction of the enemies just to see if they could catch me. Wanna shotgun me? You gotta catch me! All in all man, just have fun with it. Kids that sweat k/d and elo and elmo scores just don't know what it really means to sweat.

3 답변The "git gud" comment is more often then not is a sarcastic comment. Something not to be taken seriously. I understand sarcasm may not be something you can grasp because you have autism. I also have autism. More specifically I have Asperger's. I can understand some forms of sarcasm but not all.

Meaning that in order for one player to have a 2.0 KD, there is a 0.5 KD player (or a group of player which KD product is 0.5). So all the good crucible players should keep in mind that without the "scrubs" ( as they call them) they wouldn't be good. If only the good players remain, they would become only average.

I was just using the hard mode kings fall HC with Patience and Time because why not change it up? Needless to say, I got utterly destroyed. Ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard and EVERYBODY gets a legendary weapon or armor piece. I got a 365 rare ghost shell. You can't compete if you're getting two shotted by the same weapons every time. I hate having to conform to the meta just to win games or get higher in the leaderboard

I recently improved my three characters KD's to above 1.0. This was a personal goal I had set for myself. I was pretty pleased but the lesson I learned in the end was that nobody really gives a shit. Just play for fun otherwise there's no real point.

2 답변Something that needs to become more common knowledge: Don't take anything personally on the internet. To someone else, you're just a name on a screen. when they insult you or call you something offensive, they don't know who you are or what you go through. Obviously, had they known that you have some sort of disability, they wouldn't call you something so offensive. Don't take it personally
