We can't all "git gud"...
Sadly it's true.
For some of us with disabilities it's a meaningless (and at times hurtful) phrase thrown at us.
Our KDs are laughed at
Our ELO becomes the topic of mirth.
But we carry on regardless.
Why ?. Because our struggle is real. Every little achievement is that much sweeter because we've worked for it. It's not a natural gift of split second reflexes and hand-eye coordination but a slow often painful process where we've died a million times before doing something you've probably done in your sleep.
To anyone out there who has befriended, supported, teamed with or match made with someone with a disability,

Edit : this was meant as a thank you. Unfortunately I've been accused of demanding sympathy, pity, playing the disabled card etc. I have re-read what I wrote and I'm pretty sure I'm thanking people for their friendship and support...
But I will try again.

Don't let the assholes get you down, bud. A 0.83 KD is pretty respectable regardless of ability--I mean it's not like it's 0.15 or something. You're getting pretty close to positive. 1 답변A friend of mine has some muscle control issues in his arm which affects his gameplay. Instead of cursing about it and getting mad, he laughs it off and says that apparently instead of running to the safe room, his arm REALLY wanted to go punch Vosik in the dick. He laughs, we laugh and we all get back to it. As long as you're having fun, then that's all that really matters. The Git Guud crowd are just jealous that they aren't as fabulous as you are. 12 답변As someone who works with people who have disabilities daily, I disagree with you. You are using your disabilities as an excuse. You want people to cater to you or feel sympathy towards your situation because you have a disability that makes it hard to play a competitive video game. I'm sure my clients who can't feed, bathe, and take care of themselves in any real shape feel the same way you do. I'm sure they are so very concerned with how they perform in a game that they can't even play to then go to their device they can't use and type up a forum post they can't even read. You got upset over a comment on the internet and threw up the disabled card. That's no different than throwing up a race card, or anything else. You want equal rights and to be treated like everyone else, that's how people get treated on the internet. Can't handle it? Stay off the internet. Pretty simple fix I think. Be thankful you can actually do something you enjoy and stop caring what other people think.

2 답변I get what you're saying and I'm no elitist player or anything but to put it too bluntly in a way I'm sure you don't want to hear, not everyone can do what they want. That really sucks to hear and I don't want to be rude but they can't just give out stuff with pity but honestly not everyone in the world will be able to do what they want, that's just how it works man. Nothing compares to stepping into the boots of a hero and immersing yourself into their world. Be it PvP or PvE or whatever. I do it for the relaxing effects, the thrill of winning or losing a close game or even having my ass handed to me. I play for fun. I will get better as I play more... Maybe. But I will enjoy my time as long as there is something to play

Problem is not the get good comments. It's the fact bungie created a game mode to cater to it. With no tiering off what so ever. Let's take pop Warner toss them in with the NFL and see what happens. Diamond gold silver what ever tier trials down. Try to remember the majority that supports your game are not the minority here. We are what keeps your lights on and your BMW gas tanks full of gas. Don't tell me to try strikes. I will not be throwing money at the screen. I just bought other games. How is your player base? Maybe deej can pop on and tell me how to play rift....... Cozmo well he is actually doing a good job so thanks man.

The phrase is annoying some ppl suck ,some are average,some are awesome as with anything ppl are gonna find a skill wall. No matter how much you practice,study ,train for your not gonna be on lvl with everyone. The 1% in this community seem to forget that.
