Long story short. I was playing as luke skywalker in battlefront 3, I turned a corner, and I saw 20 stormtroopers at least half of them with smart rockets.

Flying my trade-outfitted Cutter on Elite. 200 million credits of top-end frigate. Took weeks of grind to even earn the right to purchase the ship, let alone amass the necessary funds to purchase and outfit the thing. After outfitting, total expenditure sat at around 500 million. Coming in to land at a station. Went to lower landing gear. Now, a moment of expanation: lowering landing gear is tied to a submenu accessed by holding down B. If you PRESS B, you boost. As I went through the familiar motions, I suffered a minor lag spike so the game considered my holding of B as a press - I boosted facefirst into the back wall of the station. The initial impact didnt kill me, but it did cause me to become inextricably stuck on the buildings on the back wall, thanks to the fancy nacelles on my ship. I struggled, but to no avail, and subsequently ate an insurance premium of 25 million credits. I have since remapped my Boost to A.

I'm excited to tell this story. A while back, myself and two friends (Nate, Tristen) were playing ARK. We had made our home on a decently sized island. We were mostly just screwing around, spawning dragons and other shit to tame them. For those who don't know, there is a boss in ARK called Megapithecus, which is basically a dragon sized gorilla that has the capability of spawning like 8 Gigantopithecus (basically bigfoot) every minute or so. It is extremely hostile and just as deadly, considering we had no armor. Nate accidentally spawned like seven of them on this one island. Skipping a few minor details, the seven Megapithecus constantly created new bigfoots like bigfoot factories. They overran the island and eventually FORCED US OFF THE ISLAND! They traveled in packs of who knows how many, enough to cause our game to lag just by looking at the bigfoot armies. With this, Monkey Island was born. As a counter, we all built a raft and built it up to a wooden sea-fortress. We spawned in assault rifles, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, all the bare necessities, and it still took us days to completely cleanse the island. Actually, to this day I'm not convinced there aren't a few stragglers in the jungles of Monkey Island. Our tactic for the duration of the Monkey Wars was to approach the shores of Monkey Island by boat and open up fire on the armies. Our greatest fear was that the armies would spread. They even managed to collectively kill almost everything on Monkey Island that wasn't a monkey and even a few Megalodons! Thankfully they only spread to a few other tiny little islands adjacent to Monkey Island. The whole thing was a race against time, because the Megas would constantly produce more bigfoots regardless of where we were, so every second we wasted a gift to the Megas. Even after we killed the Megas there was enough of the bigfoot army left behind to cause problems. Some of the most fun I've had on any game, I'll remember it for as long as I can. I used to farm all the bosses in Bl2 for hours. even tho i could create any item to my liking and one shot anything i still loved getting it for myself it took me over 1000 tries for the hide. that was the hardest legendary to get in the game to drop imo.
