Think of it like this. New people (or returning players) are getting your game for the holidays. There is a method to acquire hard to earn loot in a game of chance via 3oC. You don't want those people to get the goodies too early, to spend time across multiple game modes. So you remove 3oC for a bit. Whether you like the concept of 3oC or not, I'm disappointed with the lack of prior notification and meaningful info that Bungie has provided. Their reason that there is limited room in the "Curio space" is nonsense, since they are the ones who can control how many slots each vendor has and which items fill those slots. If it is a bug or technical issue, then that speaks to a lack of foresight and/or technical expertise in managing a game of this size and complexity. If they made an internal decision to do this without informing the community, then that plan demonstrates to me as a lack of respect for the community that they depend on for long-term success. Maybe they have some big surprise or reveal planned to appease the masses, and this is somehow in preparation for that...but at the moment, this move only polarizes the community without providing any real benefit to anyone. [spoiler]I personally keep a 3oC running while I play. But I've got all my own exotics and gear at max light for the moment, so it's not like I need to do so...i just enjoy the bonus rewards. I just don't see the logic in arbitrarily taking that away from people.[/spoiler]

3oC didn't ruin exotics. Nerfs did. As for all you elitist year 1's. You just want it the old way so you feel special again. Hey look what I got but you don't cause rng sucks the big one. The changes all started from complaints from year 1 players. Now that it's snowballed into a cluster blam you want to blame everyone other then yourselves. Just saying if thing were so great then Bungie wouldn't of made major changes.

Ffs, now im forced to play this PVE crap. This game is made for PVP, PVE is just some boring ass shit on the side for when you want to play against stupid AI's that were scripted by a 2 year old.

This has been done on purpose. Amount of people using them on SRL, amount of strange coins for competing in the race. And nothing to spend them on. I come into this 2 weeks late, thanks to moving home. And i got through 18 3oC. In a few days. Then no more to buy.
