Bring Back DLC Patrol World Events! (POLL)
Dear, Bungie
With year three having zero major planned or announced DLC, I think it would be a great idea to bring back the DLC specific world events. We've seen over a year's worth of the "[b]Taken forces are corrupting the area[/b]" world events. I would love to see "[b]The minions of Crota have started a ritual[/b]" appear on the moon or other patrol spaces. I would like to see "[b]A pack of Wolves is prowling[/b]" outside of the Rubicon Wastes on Mars. Let's give all players the chance to experience these public events and not just us year one players.
Now, I've created a poll to see what the community thinks about this. So, go vote, Guardians! Let your voice be heard or lose your light forever!
Edit: Thanks for the over 700 Guardians who have participated in this poll. I know it's only a fraction of the player base, but it shows that this isn't a bad idea. With almost 75% of people saying that they would like the other world events back in rotation, I think Bungie should do it.

1 답변The hive are on borrowed time & the taken are not far behind them but if I was bungie I would go with a new enemy that we have not seen before just to keep thining interesting.

1 답변I liked how they were spaced out in House of Wolves, it gave players a reason to go to the back areas more.

1 답변I like it. Another way beyond rotating would be to use the difficulty selection to choose the era patrol you want.

6 답변I want to see taken corrupting the area, wolves prowling and minions starting a ritual at the same time as I'm defending a warsat against the enemy, who are also moving against each other (one half led by Urzok). All in skywatch. All the time. Cheers.

The swords of crota was a good start, and the Prowling wolves was a huge success and made patrols really fun. But then they went to the taken and haven't really done anything fun since. (The taken offered no fun loot, or mechanics and was often frustrating to face) Seriously though,they could have had mutated, siva hive running around the plaguelands for Festival of the lost, and killing the hoard boss would have a low chance to drop FotL packages (low chance like Treasure keys from Prowling wolves). The Dawning could have had snow storms in the Cosmodrome with high level captains running around. Kill them all and find the golden servitor to to get a chance at a Dawning package. This would solve so many problems. It'd get people to patrol again in various areas. It'd add some much needed PvE content. And it'd give us a way to grind for those event packages. People with limited time can still buy them, or hardcore players can grind for them.

1 답변so players who just started and do the story missions in order don't fight roaming packs of wolves? are you sure? if so jumping to 40 with a spark is skipping a whole lot of fun

5 답변I don't really think that this would work with minions of Croat, do to timeline issues, but you could do it with the House of Wolves since they are technically broken but not gone and are tying to gain a foothold again.

2 답변I like your thinking. This would be awesome. Esp if they had multiple walkers or warsats fall at same time too. Imagine few walkers and a battle. Be carnage everywhere lol

2 답변I miss the prowling wolves on the Moon. Since there are no Taken there, it would be cool to see the wolves show up in one or two of the areas.

5 답변I remember being a level ten and walked Ito the place where the hive seeder is on earth near the sepiks refinery place and stumbling across those acolytes and then having the big old blade spawn in front of me with no one to help an all I had was a blue fusion with arc so after about twenty minutes of fighting and jumping around to avoid being one slashed and as my reward I got my first legendery engram that didn't decrypt into shards an actually decrypted into a shadow price for me (Yay!) and also I got my husk of the pit.

2 답변The only issue is that taken forces have to keep showing up for any new players doing the quests. Ttk quest line has a couple spots requiring killing those taken bosses

9 답변Better yet a small chance for several to happen at once, ie; a wolf pack and taken corruption at the same time, just chill as they kill each other.
