Bullet sponges. Also everyone is saying that the emperor of the Cabal is just gonna come raid us personally because of some signal. That's not gonna happen. This empire has survived for a very long time and it would be a major tactical disadvantage if he/she were to travel away from the base of operations
Edit 1: I'm not saying a Cabal Raid wouldn't be awesome, despite what I have said. The only thing is that it must be done in a different fashion than the other raids.
Like one guy mentioned, perhaps they could give it less of a sense that you have to kill everything in sight but a sense of being completely outgunned yet you must still must prioritize and make it to the boss. Also I was thinking maybe they could do what EVERYONE wants, and that's usable SHIPS (not just as loading screens). Perhaps at one stage we have one set of the team on foot while the rest are preventing Cabal reinforcements in the air

3 답변Simple idea: antoher Primus arrives in our System with the giant fleet to defeat to revenge for previous Primus. We defeat new Primus and capture his fleet. That is the end of the first raid about cabal in Destiny 2. Destiny 3: We use captured fleet to reach the homeworld of Cabal... and kill the Emperor. That is how we defeat Cabal.

7 답변This is a first person shooter. Getting ships to fire will stop the game being a first person shooter. That would be asking bungie to have a complete change of life. It's like bungie has a first person shooter license and they will be breaking the laws of gaming if they choose to be any different.

There could be some really cool psion linked mechanics. Imagine if the Guardians found a rebel escaped Psion and lead a Psion revolt. Working your way through a raid using the Timur artefact to ally Psions to our cause and using them to break through shields etc. Or having to reflect Psion attacks using swords in order to defeat locking mechanisms.

It just so happens he's landed his ship In the exact same area of Mars we've been going all this time because why not. 2 new strikes - Biggs Biggie (A giant Phalax's shield, yes just his shield...with a gun) - Valus Taco (remastered Valus Ta'aurc but his rockets are replaced by a fierce shit storm left over from a dodgy Taco)

1 답변Naw instead it would be basically weapons of mass destruction Like on of those tanks that you have to take down by using local armaments like the interceptors/turrets And varkis would occasionally send you weapons like shock cannons Another I think would be badass a psion that uses swords and mental abilities to take you out instead of stationary/rail moving bosses it be a fast roaming boss The final boss would be like colossus that requires heavy armaments to hurt him and and occasional item/object allows you to call in your ship or crows to aid you in strafe run Or those Hawks from g horn mission come in to help you but get randomly blown out of the sky which requires your team to doge falling debris

2 답변A similar, but more refined Archwing mechanics and the accompanying Raid from Warframe would be awesome. Always thought the concept, ideas, and gameplay elements from Warframe combined with the budget, production quality, and gameplay elements from Destiny would make an amazing game.

2 답변I think a cool idea for a Cabal raid would be that the Cabal have stolen vital information from us and are currently transporting it back to their base of operations on a ship. So basically it would be a raid aboard a moving Cabal ship flying through space and you fight through it to the bridge where you finally kill the captain of the ship.

1 답변The real problem with a cabal raid is no respawning + phalanx shields + architects = never finishing a raid EVER

1 답변If there were a cabal raid we would be going to them imo we would raid the palace of the empire .

1 답변Real problem would be an amped up psion, mainly for that bullshit ass death wave that it'll do, but the attack will be amped up like its arc burn and you Insta die if it gets near you

The best idea I've ever seen for a Cabal raid opened with having to chase down, board, and highjack a Cabal supply train, eventually commandeering it as a way to enter their base undetected. I don't remember much after that, but that opening sequence sounded incredible.

I'd love a Cabal raid on their empire or legion or whatever. It would be probably similar to how the raids are already set up with their secrets and so forth, so what is to say they can't introduce a new type of Cabal Psion or something similar to the Vex? We saw what they're capable of in the Psion Flayer's strike. They could build upon that since they have so much mystery surrounding the Psions, the Vex and Cabal. Just my two cents. It does sound all random at this point, but Bungie is pretty much all over the place now from Splicers to Taken to what's next?

As much as I love fighting bosses and mobs of enemies, since Final Fantasy XV's release I've been saying Destiny needs a raid similar to the Pitioss Ruins in FFXV. It's a bunch of really thought invoking puzzles and no enemies whatsoever, but it's still very fun and challenging. Being Destiny however, I do think that some enemies and bosses would be mandatory. Though I do think that Bungie could learn from those puzzles. They're what the jumping puzzles in VoG and Kings Fall should've been.
