Edit: I guess I have to apologize to some for not knowing the qualifications of MotW, and this was one of my friends first ever race with the time breaker sparrow. I just told him when to boost.
Edit: 2 Before calling a sparrow OP please take into account [b]All[/b] of their attributes.
If you're claiming that it is OP because it has a boost, (which can really only be used up to its full potential in the last 5 seconds or so of a race) and then ignoring the fact that other so called "trick sparrows" can recharge their maneuvers from doing simple tricks in the air throughout the entire race, is a one sided argument.. it sounds like people are saying the trick sparrows can't do anything and the boost the other sparrow has is somehow god like...
You are completely ignoring what the trick sparrows can take advantage of and just focusing all your rage on what a couple others can do...

TL:DR Make fair comparisons before using the terms OP and Crutch.

I mean they are just hitting two buttons and going in a straight path using n op sparrow that most people don't have. No skill is involved at all [b]EDIT: If you idiots dont believe a sparrow can be OP go watch Fr99ywo99y1 the record holder for sparrow racing using his Graverobber or Timebreaker for his record runs[/b] I seriously cant believe how many of you are this dumb

1 답변The boost sparrow has lower overall speed. Mits provides two advantages. 1. Getting back to top speed after being slowed down 2. Boosting an end of race to explode at the chance of increasing you position. There are better sparrows all around. It's no crutch it's situational.

5 답변i understand the concept, but it's still a crutch dude was literally in last place, and in 5th on the straightaway he only won because of his sparrow, skill has NOTHING to do with it if they are going to allow different STATS of sparrows, they need to start making more kinds i sometimes use timebreaker and graverobber myself (omg there are 2 of them? ppl are noobs) ; however, when i do use these, i know i am getting 1st because of a trick, not because of skill many-a-stolen victories from this scam-like feature (you never see people blowing themselves up at any time "on purpose" other than on the last lap, on the last straightaway

2 답변Is Timebreaker actually still good? I stopped using mine in last year's SRL because it didn't feel as easy and smooth to ride as the racing sparrows :/

While the Timebreaker is OP this video doesn't show it. It's still slower by nearly 30 seconds then my best time. Getting a time of 3:48 on the Venus map with Timebreaker is OP but it takes EXTREME skill, Kudos to those who use it well I'm very jealous

작성자: Criewolf 12/24/2016 9:43:23 AMThe sparrow stats can be ignored, I'd say just about every sparrow in the game is even. Their abilities can play to a few advantages, but they all have some disadvantages as well, such as aggressive breaking allowing you to destroy tight turn corners and shave off a few seconds for lap time but also slow your boost down by a fair amount. The raid sparrows give an almost unnoticeable boost until you actually redline it into overdrive and explode. The trick sparrows are a nice balance between speed and maneuverability, but to take advantage of them you'd have to make an effort to focus on hitting air jumps and hitting another button besides the triggers. Judging all of them based off of ONE race is naive at best. It'd be like if Bungie decided that after one player demolished an enemy team using NLB that all of a sudden it was OP and needed a nerf. No. If players who are consistently smoking their competition using one specific sparrow all the time, then it should be looked in to. But as it stands, a victory in SRL comes from making the least amount of mistakes, knowing the map, and knowing how to maneuver yourself accordingly, NOT from the type of sparrow you are using. Period.
