Prayer request
For the all the God worshippers on this forum. I would like to ask for your prayers, my family is going through a tough time and any prayers would be welcome!

Those of you saying B8 and other negative things that's your right to do so. At the end of August I got my hand caught in a machine at work and almost had my left pinky cut off. My pinky was crushed, severed the ligaments, tendon, nerves and crush the veins in my finger. The bone is healed but my finger is still not moving. I have a lot of therapy left to get movement back in my finger.
Things are tough financially and we're close to losing our house. Again, that you all for the support without even knowing what it was for.
Edit 2: I have been on workers comp since my injury was at work. Workers comp only pays about half of my salary. We have cut a lot of things that we do out. We keep the internet for my wife so she can do work at home( she a school psychologist) and has a lot of reports and research to do so she's not at the school/s and my for my oldest because at his school they issued him a laptop (7th grade) and he does half of his homework and studying via the internet. My bother in law texted me this morning and said he would loan me some money so we don't get evicted and could pay him back once I get back to full duty at work.
I work in the petrochemical area doing maintenance, repairs, new construction in refineries, chemical, plants, power plants etc...

Well... at least this post gave you a list of a$$holes that you shouldn't piss on if they were on fire. If you DO loose your finger, I know some people in the amputee community.... there's a big yearly convention and lots of support groups and helpful people of all amputation types. And if you're in the Memphis, TN area, I know some good prosthetics guys. Good luck to ya and God bless and merry Christmas!

5 답변Praying will not cure your finger. Praying will not fill your pockets with money. I think using prayer for any personal progression is a shallow faith and a complete hipocracy. Asking others to use their faith for your own gain is even more shallow and self centered, not really the basis of a faith I can get behind. Sorry.

Please don't ask the internet for prayers let alone mention anything religious for your own good. There may be a few kind hearted people out there who'll give you sympathy, but the majority of responses will be toxic hatred and harassment in spite of your good intentions.

1 답변4 years ago I was using a table saw and cutting cedar shanks for a roof. In 30 years of construction, I never had an accident until that day. In the blink of an eye, a thread hanging off of my work gloves got caught on the blade and dragged my hand into the blade. It stripped the flesh from all my digits on my hand and all that was left was bloody bones. I grabbed a ziplock bag from the house's kitchen, through some ice and salt in it and went and picked up the tissue pieces I could find. Then I drove myself towards the hospital and met the ambulance half way. The next 12 hours they scanned and X-rayed and pieced my fingers back together. They did a fantastic job except they didn't have all the tissue to cover my middle finger. So they had to cut it off at the first joint from the knuckle. That was when I found out why I have never had a broken bone. My bone hardness was equivalent to that off deer antlers. The bone saw was heating it up to hot so they had to score around the bone and then have two male nurses each hold a side of the bone and break it with a hammer. The nice thing was that when the saw ripped off all the tissue it severed the nerves and I had no pain at all till they broke the bone. Then they gave me a crap load of some powerful shit. For the next 6 months I had to soak my hand in warm saltwater 3 times a day.. To help speed the healing process I added a bit of l-glutamine to the baths(works wonders for healing but feels like sticking your hand in acid). all in all, it took nearly 2 solid years before it was completely back to where I could normally use my hand.. Now I don't even pay attention to it being missing. Except when I grab change out of my pocket and it falls out all over the ground from where my finger use to be. Stay strong and just do what you have to for you and your family. You'll pull through stronger and more determined than ever before. Just don't go into any of that self pity stuff. That doesn't do anybody any good, specially you. Best of luck and keep positive.
