8 Philosophical Questions We Can't Answer?

So, I read a short article thingy that presented 8 questions that it claimed humanity could never answer. I wanna know what you think about these questions, and what answers you guys come up with. (Im bored and dont wanna study for my math final lmao) 1. Why is there something rather than nothing?
If space is mostly nothing then why is there something? Why not nothing?
2. Is our universe real? 3. Do we have free will? 4. Does God exists? (inb4religiousdebates) 5. Is there life after death? 6. Can you really experience anything objectively?
Is there such a thing as true objectiveness? Or are all of our decisions bias?
7. What is the best moral system? (Is there a definitive right and wrong?) 8. What are numbers?
Are they physical? Are they a construct of our imagination? Why do they help us understand the universe so well?
Have at it Offtopic! Here's the source i read this from. Check it out for more depth.
https://www.google.com/amp/io9.com/5945801/8-philosophical-questions-that-well-never-solve/amp?client=ms-android-verizon
•
1. Why is there something rather than nothing?
If space is mostly nothing then why is there something? Why not nothing?

For there to be something at all there has to be an origin. Something capable of producing such quantities of energy and matter. Everything does not just inexplicably appear from nothing, and that to me proves existence of something frequently referred to as God.
2. Is our universe real?
Reality depends on perception of observation. Even if the universe is real in one man's mind, it's has to be real.
3. Do we have free will?
To question one's own free will is the folly of idiots. Anybody can exhibit free-will via the making of decisions, nobody controls the intimate thoughts of a person's own mind.
4. Does God exists?
Refer to the answer of question 1.
5. Is there life after death?
This I believe depends on your definition of life. If you're thinking of the biological process and physical being, then no. Spiritually? We'll all find out eventually.
6. Can you really experience anything objectively?
Is there such a thing as true objectiveness? Or are all of our decisions bias?

You experience many things objectively every day. When see, hear or read something happens that has absolutely no impact on your own life, you're doing just that.
7. What is the best moral system? (Is there a definitive right and wrong?)
Best for whom? I think to suggest a universal moral system, would require everybody to have an equal standing in the outcome. The only fair way to do that is suggest everybody should treat everybody else how they would expect themselves and their family to be treated.
8. What are numbers?
It's our perception of quantity. A system we use to order and process the quantity of things.

I wanna know what you think about these questions, and what answers you guys come up with. (Im bored and dont wanna study for my math final lmao) 1. Why is there something rather than nothing? Because there is a God, who has and always has been. 2. Is our universe real? Obviously, the proof of reality is reality existing at this very moment, something cannot, not exist if thought is occuring. 3. Do we have free will? Yes, or there would be no evil. 4. Does God exists? See 1. 5. Is there life after death? Most assuredly. 6. Can you really experience anything objectively? Every decision has a bias of some kind. 7. What is the best moral system? choose to love. 8. What are numbers? Numbers are representations of multiples of things.
• Uh, 7 is easily answered. No, there is no perfect moral code, because moral codes are reflections of societies, and societies are in constant flux; changing, shifting, ending, starting anew.

      • This is ridiculous. These questions suck. What are numbers r u serious? Why ponder this useless garbage when u could be thinking about something to actually help yourself or do something. The only questions that matter are about religion because all religion should be abolished as a sad excuse for weak minds and mental illness

          • most important one we cant answer; are ideas "alive" and if so are they "sentient/selfaware" why is this important? do people create these things called ideas and concepts and use them to their will or do ideas concepts and ideology shape the entire universe by using all "life" in that universe as a tool for a means to an end?

            • No, we don't have free will. Our past points down and pushes us on our sole path and our future is already defined. We just don't know what it is yet.

I could go through that list and tell you why each of them are ridiculous questions to be asked in the first place, but I need to go to bed right now. Suffice it to say, the reason we can't answer them is that the questions are too vague and meaningless for all of us to agree on an answer.

                        • I may alter this as i think on some of these, but heres what i got for now: 1)something exists as a clump of nothing thats been disturbed (cryptic but think of gravity as a blanket and the various mounds being a disturbed portion that prefers to stay together) 2) is our universe real? According to our senses and all quantifiable data, yes. No question there. 3)Free will. Strange topic, especially since free will doesnt have a straight definition in terms of reality, but yes we do. We have the option to move any part of our body in various manners at any given point in time, so yes. 4) does god exist? it really doesnt matter whether it does or doesnt, but theres less logic behind a being of omnipotence than the formation via big bang. 5) life after death. literally speaking, no. life is our living form, so by all medical definition no there isnt. As for our spirit, most likely not. 6) "absolute" anything is kind of nonexistent. everything seems to approach an infinitely expanding point, with a mathematical end but no physical one. As for objectivity, it is somewhat relative, but the best way to look at it is comparing a person's objectivity to a circle. The more points (facts, unbiased views) a person has the more round their shape of objectivity is. A person with less than 12 facts pertaining to a decision is not significantly objective, and holds more bias than objectivity. a true circle is numerically impossible, and after 100 youre wasting time. 7) the constitution illustrates our moral bounds correctly. Do no harm unless the person in question has violated another's life, property, or liberty. Anything beyond that is entirely subjective ad cannot be enforced properly. 8)numbers, or mathematics, are our way of quantifying the physical world. its entirely of human construct and is not always connected to reality.

                          • 1. Why is there something rather than nothing?
If space is mostly nothing then why is there something? Why not nothing?
There is no such thing as nothing, there never has been, and there never will be. Empty space is not empty. Zero-point energy does not imply zero energy. If you mean "something" as in physical constitutes of matter, to summarize it, the ideas of entropy, quantum uncertainty, the principle of least action, spacetime symmetry breaking and conservation laws in general explain why this is so instead of simply having uniform energy, and I don't feel like typing pages right now, so you can do some research. 2. Is our universe real? The question assumes that the one answering is real, and thus answers itself. Yes, the universe is real, otherwise, the question wouldn't exist. 3. Do we have free will? Depends on how you define free-will. A slave doesn't have free-will. A human wishing to travel the stars doesn't have free-will. If you mean every single action and feeling that we do or have, the question assumes that one does have free will in order for it to be an open question. 4. Does God exists? (inb4religiousdebates) Define God. I am a God. I control my perception, my thoughts, my actions, my feelings, everything that I will ever see in my life is controlled by me. If I don't wish to see, I look away. The question assumes that God is a well defined concept, and that the individual can answer something that the modern definition of a God wouldn't allow for. 5. Is there life after death? Is there a difference? 6. Can you really experience anything objectively?
Is there such a thing as true objectiveness? Or are all of our decisions bias?
No. This isn't an open question, this is simple psychology. 7. What is the best moral system? (Is there a definitive right and wrong?) What is the worst? 8. What are numbers?
Are they physical? Are they a construct of our imagination? Why do they help us understand the universe so well?
Numbers are meaningless. Math is not about numbers. If you believe so, you have not taken enough math. Physical relationships are not a construct of our imagination. The question assumes that there is a difference between our imagination and reality, and in doing so this means that the relationships we study also must reside in reality.

Is our universe real? Yes. 3. Do we have free will? Yes. 4. Does God exists? (inb4religiousdebates) 5. Is there life after death? Answering these two together - I can't answer it now but one day we'll all be dead (merry Christmas!) and at that point we will know. 6. Can you really experience anything objectively? Is there such a thing as true objectiveness? Or are all of our decisions bias? Yes. 7. What is the best moral system? Is there a definitive right and wrong? One day I'm sure there'll be a globally decided upon moral system, but I'm sure it will have people that disagree with it still, so I'm saying no. 8. What are numbers? Are they physical? Are they a construct of our imagination? Why do they help us understand the universe so well? They're simply a tool. We use them to make sense of measurements. For instance, imagine using something else as a measurement of distance, e.g. "its this big!" - it would be too complex. Good post OP.
