I actually like what's coming in the Dawning!
Now I'm not oblivious to the fact that silver WILL be a big part of the return of SRL, but I also understand the business that they need to run.
The Dawning actually looks like a pretty good addition of some cool (and overdue) features, and bringing back icebreaker! I never had the privilege of owning one because I came in for HoW and by the time I got up to light for raids, TTK came out and it was left behind. Looks like it's going to bring some permanent stuff that I will enjoy, and now with (hopefully) 4 total srl maps it won't feel as grindy.
BESIDES the silver that is going to be involved, what is your opinion on what the video advertised?
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the replies. Mostly good feedback, but I do agree with some of the re-skin comments. But I also understand why this has been the way it is for a year now. Oh well. Thanks everyone.

1 답변All the critics saying reskinned stuff. Idk. I like it. A lot of people loved those armor sets that used to be blue and bungie gave us them. ICEBREAKER was asked for and they gave us it. The 2 thunderlord things were teased, but the perks were wacky and obviously bungie decided they weren't fit for taken king. Developers leave things out often, only to tweak and reimplement them later. Everyone's freaking out all the time about things that are normal in 90% of games. Used to be 3 days and the game was over, and people were happy about it. Now it's "THERES NOT ENOUGH CONTENT BLAH BLAH BLAH". Also, do you know how many people screamed, "BRING BACK ICEBREAKER!! BLAH BLAH BLAH" Now its back and everyone's mad. Bungie can't win. Sorry bungie for your confused community.

As much as silver was utilised in FotL I think it'll go the way that's years srl went. You could buy sparrow kits and horns but other than that the only things were the emotes. And once you got a sparrow it was removed from the prize pool so you couldn't get duplicates, same for the horns I think... That's what I think will be primarily in eververse this time. Alongside the new consumables and maybe the gifts as well. But we're getting a free gift (possibly for each guardian) every day until the event ends so it's not like we're going to be running too short on them.

Which, by the way, will not outclass dark-drinker or Gjallarhorn. A nerfed icebreaker with 2 frankly ugly ass ornaments. Once again, not better than the black spindle or Gjallarhorn. It [i]might[/i] be better than other snipers on things like combined arms maps, that way you don't have to run around for ammo. Otherwise useless. SRL. The destiny version of Mario Kart. Yay... let's keep throwing our money at the screen for "new" content. The hardcore players will eat this event up, and a week later, the game will be dry again. Edit: thanks to those who liked this post. To those of you who get it, thank you for existing. Dealing with fanboys is difficult. Edit 2: people trying to argue "what's not free? the whole event is free," let me say that festival of the cost was a huge flop because everything that was desired was in a eververse package that had an extremely low chance of dropping. I'm not the only one who complains about this stuff, just watch your precious YouTubers

43 답변I'm getting soooooo fed up with all the freaking negative and cancerous people on this community. I saw this post and was looking forward to see all the other people's excitement as I am excited. But riddled through all these posts are horribly negative and cancerous people. I truly feel sorry for Bungie and for those of us who actually enjoy Destiny. I was blown away by all the extra content we will be getting besides just sparrow racing. So on behalf of the "positive" Destiny Community, Thank you Bungie.

1 답변I think this would look pretty ok... ...if I was still playing. The problem is, I already quit the daily habit, started playing Dragon Age(* and I just don't have time for two games. This is definitely not enough to make me switch back right now -- maybe later. I played the "April update" actually in August/September while waiting for RoI release. This is roughly what I would expect from a [i]monthly[/i] update to keep a game interesting. Not a quarterly-ish one (April-RoI-Dawning). *) The amount of story and dialogue that game has compared to some others we know very well *cough* Destiny*cough* is simply flabbergasting. P.S. At least they've learned to give these things a name so we're not stuck something as dumb as "April update". Could have been "Wrath of Malok" or something, you know... P.P.S. Quitting Destiny has also freed up time for neglected other hobbies, making return even less likely...

1 답변Honestly I don't give much of a crap. All the PvE content, in fact all the content, is simply just a re-skin of what we were given in the first year. I only play this game for some PvP action and I visit the forums when I need some salt for my chips. In fact as much as I love PvP games I'm starting to get bored of destiny and starting to see why halo and star wars do so well with their ridiculously sized maps and 40 man skirmishes. That shit is fun.
