Shotguns are far too prevalent and snipers have been pretty much obliterated from active use. This flinch meta is far too ridiculous. There should be distance drop off to flinch and impact archetypes should be considered despite having high caliber rounds on your gun or not. The way I see it is, this flinch meta is Bungie's way of adding yet another rubberband mechanic to allow people without thumbskill to throw off someone with better thumbskills aim. It's the new ghost bullet. They are trying to gather data on this and will eventually adjust flinch like I requested but as of right now it's simply not fun to miss your shots you would've landed a month prior due to a shift in the sandbox.
Not to mention for being in the top 10% my matchmaking waiting times are ridiculous and I can't even find a game in the game modes I like anymore. I'm forced to play game modes like supremacy and control which I don't like playing. About matchmaking, my guess is, bungie isn't being honest with us with global player numbers because they don't want to admit the player base has been diluted to the point where they have to globally matchmake for many people. Either way, it isn't fun anymore to play with people half way across the world in game modes I don't want to play to begin with because I'm locked out from matchmaking for other playlists because my rank in that mode is higher because I enjoy playing it.
I'm doing the only thing I can do to protest. Turn off Destiny until they notice. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. It seems they look at data more than anything else though. I suggest anyone else that feels this way do the same.
Can someone explain to me how shotguns can even be a real problem knowing out of every weapons in this entire game they have been nerfed the most. I'm having a hard time believing they areca problem.
Did Bungie reverse all the nerfs that the Nerf herders called?
