20 답변Red states tend to be the biggest recipients in welfare and food stamps. Poorer states (which also tend to be red) use more tax revenue then they send to the Fed, thereby being a net drain. 97 of 100 poorest counties are red counties. Take Kansas, which enacted a "grand experiment" slashing tax rates across the board, even exempting business owners from income tax. What happened? It imploded. Deficits are through the roof, revenue reduced significantly, job creation is stagnant, Supreme Court even forced to step in to reinstate education funding. Meanwhile, rich states like California (alone the 8th largest economy in the world), contribute more to Fed then take, and even support the poorer states.

7 답변Nice b8. The generalization of one group being lazy and non-working is one of the disturbing practices that polarizes politics. Much like if someone to call out you for being married to your sister/unintelligent type arguments that only further divides.
