A Heartfelt Thanks to All The Shotgun Rushers Out There
I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to all the shotgun rushers.
After a rather long hiatus I have returned to Destiny and have found myself being unusually successfully in the crucible.
Could it be I have gotten better through some unknown osmosis?
Eh, I wish but highly unlikely.
After having a relatively successful round of rumble it occurred to me.

It all makes sense...
In some players eternal search for the weapon with the lowest learning curve they have migrated back to shotguns...

No longer must I fear going to an ammo box placed in the open or walking down a long hall way. All the scrub snipers have now turned into scrub shotgunner and that's ALOT easier to deal with.
So [b]THANK YOU[/b] shotgun rushers...
As I bear-bait you out of your little hidey hole with a well placed grenade and you mindlessly run at me like a 28 Days Later zombie only to be put down half way there, firing off a desperate out of range shot...

4 답변The thing about shotguns is that they require no skill to get kills with. While other weapons are. Think about it would you rather: Use a primary when A.) The enemy has a shotgun and will blink or titan skate/garrison to get to you and you die B.) the other person might have a god roll weapons and destroys you.[spoiler]yes there are people with meh weapons and you could win in those situations [/spoiler] Or as I explained in part A use a shotgun and just kill him in less than a second. Probably use a shotgun. How to fix this? Improve primaries Perhaps a better radar with memory of gheleon which detects people farther aways.

6 답변Lucky you're on PlayStation where the shotgunners just run at you in a straight line... On Xbox all they do is crouch around corners and hover above doorways. I really still don't know how you couldn't counter snipers, all you had to do was flinch them, yeah, evey once in a while they'll get a lucky shot but 9/10 times they'll be too flinched to do shit.

15 답변I miss snipers. At least then people used their primarys now its just shotguns besides it was super easy to avoid snipers but when shotguns are around every corner its just cancer

5 답변Yea I love shotguns in the place they are in now. Snipers got a bit to much done to them so IMO they need a slight buff. I think warlocks in general and titans loghtening nade needs a nerf. Hunter melee either needs a buff or the other two need a nerf(preferably the second option^) since hunters have the worst melee BY FAR now. Hand Cannons need bloom removed. It didn't work in halo and it doesn't work now. I think there should be a longer delay and cooldown after shooting a shotgun shell before you can melee. And autos need a buff. Hell, grasp archetype is right where it should be. The only reason it is better than everything else is because everything else is underpowered. Disclaimer:[spoiler]If you have a problem with this post or the content in it and you yourself are only good because you use one of the things I said needs a nerf then please don't respond, your opinion is invalid. If you are a person who switches what they use everytime the meta changes and thus is only good because bungie is horrible at balancing, then please disregard this post, i'm not going to argue with you. Honestly, shotguns are probably the easiest weapons to get kills with. And yes, I have more shotgun kills than sniper kills, so I'm not biased.

1 답변I still snipe shotgun rushers all the time. My quick scope and doctrine/handcannon/pulse game is on point. Not to mention the shotgunners who run to these special boxes or attempt to use a primary once in a while

1 답변Wait, but shotgun rushers aren't the ones who got snipers nerfed. It was the people who wanted to match a sniper with their scout rifles or pulse rifles.

Wow. There's a lot of salty hardscopers hanging out in the comments! Don't be mad at shotguns because you can't hit headshots while somebody is putting bullets into your constant scope glare anymore. You're thinking about all the Jug/Shotty Titan scrubs who don't have Primaries equipped. 7 답변My k.d has gotten a lot better with them switching to shotguns. Theyre complete idiots in thinking that they can always cross the map and soak up all the bullets to then 1 shot you. Theyll then come on the forums and claim theyre so good. A wise man named MTashed once said, "YOU GOT A F UCKING PRIMARY! USE IT!!"

1 답변The fantasy world where a body shot from a shot gun takes more skill than lining up sniper head shots! Lmao! Shotgunners only dislike snipers because you can't just run around like an idiot trying to "close the gap, land a body shot!". These posts will never end, and will always be genuinely hilarious.
