STOP BUYING SILVER YOU FOOLS
You are opening the door to the gaming industry to be destroyed. We should demand to see how much money Bungie has made off the Silver. I bet it is a s*** ton. For that amount of money we should not be paying for DLC's.
Example: GTA you can purchase in-game money and other things but they do not charge for thier DLC'S. They are still a very successful company.
Other companies are watching how much they are making and are taking notes. Trust me when I say this they will follow suite if Bungie keeps making a fortune on this silver and still charging for DLC's.
I've been gaming off and on for almost 30yrs now. Yes, I'm old (for a gamer), 38 to be exact I got the NES in 87' for christmas and been hooked ever since.
But I fear my gaming days are numbered the recent release of Gears of War with their in-game purchases along with $100 price tag for the game with the DLCs, and Battlefield costing $150. 150? That's half the price of a -blam!-ing console for crying out loud!
These companies have gone completely out of control gouging thier customers. It's insane!
This will be my last console.... Sadly I do not see a cap in the industry it is only going to get worse.

Wow! I go to work and come home to see 900+ views! I am ejoying reading all the comments. Some are in agreement with me some are not. Keep it up we may even get a reply from Bungie.

No No No. Get one more console. Make the " Switch " this coming March. Nintendo is like the Apple Mac of gaming. You pay a steep price for hard/software, but it comes with all you need, little no updates. A Full -blam!-ing game. They say the infrastructure should be up to spec as ps4 and xbone so 3rd parties devs should be easily jumping on..... but I agree with you, gaming sucks with all this in game purchasing mess. It's like the game, itself, has become a market place ... I'm not cool with that!

1 답변Activision pushes for the paid DLC. Did you not know Bungie is only a [i]developer[/i] and Activision is their [i]publisher[/i]? Seriously, go hate on the correct people. Bungie is, for all intents and purposes, the employee of Activision when it comes to Destiny until the contract expires.

I agree micro trans suck but at the same time so does the pre-order culture that exists in gaming as well and I assume many people who hate micros will immediately fall into hypocrisy and pre-ordergames for the "special" or "limited" edition bundles/bonuses which ESPECIALLY with destiny have be proven to be parts of the base game cut off and re-sold like it is new content. What is more PC has had micros trans models for years longer than consoles so buying silver isn't gonna do as much as you think.

I'll spend my money however I like, thank you very much. I've gotten thousands of hours of entertainment from this game and buying silver to support its development is a bargain for me personally, considering how much I'd have to spend to occupy the same amount of time going to the movies or things of that nature

2 답변Lol. It's hilarious people do this, what can you do? Each to their own. It is a common thread throughout humanity on this planet.. people buy crap, useless crap. They always have and they always will. This is no exception. Bungie is interested in its top and bottom line so making this option available is not unusual. No one is forced to buy it.
