I'm just going to say something.
Self-Rez is not a crutch, It is a benefit that allows Warlocks to make riskier plays in PvE. The Front Bomb in Vosik, being the runner on Oryx, Swordbearer on Crota, Relic Holder for Templar and Atheon, All important Roles that Warlocks are Great for because they can self revive.
Crucible/Trials is a non-Factor, for the simple reasoning of "Watch His Rez".
TL;DR: A fireborn Warlock isn't a crutch, it is a means that a player can make riskier plays to benefit a team
Edit: Apparently Holding onto Self-Rez doesn't benefit the team. Memory of Skori, nuff said.
Edit: We trending boys! Also loving that people are coming out to support my view, Thanks.
Edit: SMH. I never said Warlocks were the best for all these things, I said they were great for them. I'm willing to test running times at Oryx just to Annoy some of these hunter mains though, Swordbearer was an example.
Edit: To the elaborate on the whole "Riskier Plays"
I meant it in the means of, If another class for example, a Hunter went out and got front bomb and died in the Vosik fight early on, it's a wipe. Fireborn just lets warlocks take risks other classes shouldn't have to.
Edit 5: It has come to my attention that Titans can also solo Oryx.
Titans can block up to 3 with a bubble and a sword meaning it would take them 6 rounds minimum, for a hunter you can only block one with a sword
Aksis and Atheon however, are still only legitimately soloable by Warlocks.

I have no issue with any subclass. They all have advantages and disadvantages. Most ppl want them nerfed across the board so they are equal. I always thought variety was key and made it different to other games but clearly most want a cod reboot

3 답변I have been a warlock since the beta. I will always main a warlock. I hate when people call warlocks a "crutch". So many times I have saved raids, and other trials things. When we were facing the war priest on kings fall, my whole team died while we got him down to a smidge because our aura holder died and the aura was transferred to a noob. So we all died, I self res'd, and whipped out my black spindle and melted him before the aura timer ended. I single-handly beat the siege engine, my whole team died, I self res'd and put all the parts in. I love my warlock. It's not a crutch, replace the "r" with an "L" and you'll get what it really is. It's clutch.

2 답변Dont know about you guys, but as a hunter i'm always happy to have a self res warlock in my team. For whatever activity we're doing. Just in case. Just like I'm always happy to have a defender titan in my team. All classes compliment each other. Stop hating and start appreciating eachother man. Get a balanced team and be nearly invincible

11 답변작성자: : ^ ) 10/25/2016 2:33:46 AMWhile Self-Rez is pretty vital to the Aksis solo, it's not necessarily a good perk to use elsewhere. I'm of the preference of using my super during actual parts to better help my team or escape death, than relying on death to do the aforementioned things. That's why I've always advocated Radiant Skin. I only run Self-Rez during points of a raid that I feel uncomfortable as a Warlock. Most of the time, those situations are when we're learning something new or going into a new activity. Let's be honest, Self-Rez is kind of a crutch. It lets you get sloppy.

1 답변It benefits the team in a nightfall wen everyone dies and u comeback to life to save the day It also benefits the team on normal raids wen everyone dies because u didn't shut the door in time or something else and u res and revive everone

작성자: Archangel 10/25/2016 12:45:15 PMI'd like to point out a few things 1. If you die as sword bearer, you spawn oversoul 2. If you die running VoG relic, you're an idiot seeing as how it gives a shield and in most situations you're using said shield. 3. If you die as runner in Kings Fall, the aura switches and most likely it is a wipe regardless of whether you self res or not Imo warlocks are only good now for clearing adds and burning bosses.

Everything you've mentioned (with the exception of anything in kings fall) I've done numerous times oh warlock, hunter and Titan. I can honestly say that I -blam!-ing hated doing it on a warlock. I recently deleted mine. While self res is useful (and it is a crutch), there's so many other things I'd rather be using.

I can't believe people are still o this whole my class is master race thing. Pretty sure I've done most every objective on each class. Although I'm not gonna argue when I run heroic on my lock im 90% of the time usi self res

Ive done all of what you posted....and not once have i used a fireborn for any of it. If you cant stay alive doing something then maybe you should practice more instead of relying on a cheese ability. For HM raids yes i can see how it would be useful but again if you cant stay alive without it then i suggest you practice.
