Well, Taken King on release was very stingy with light level. You had to grind the raid for months to climb from 310 to 319, and 320 was basically a winning lottery ticket. I beat Oryx for the first time in October, and I was still raiding weekly in December. I've already got all the hardmode raid guns from Wrath of the Machine. I will probably complete my spliced set and max my light well before Thanksgiving, and then the only thing left for me to do will be challenge modes for cosmetic ornaments.
