How did you became 400???
I became 400 on Thursday and by only doing the heroic raid once !!!
At 385, I used the faction packages to get my armor & weapons at 390. Then I opened exotics. But it only gave me 391s for my armor & weapons. Then I went to archon's forge for an hour. I got a 395 artifact, 393 ghost, and a 394 class item. Then I open more exotics. That got got me to 394 and no matter what, I could not get any exotics to decrypt at 395. So I did the heroic raid at 394. I got a 399 primary, 400 ghost, 399 secondary, 398 heavy, and a 400 chest. Then I opened more exotics to get the remaining armor & weapons to 399. Then I went to archons forge to get the 400 artifact and class item. That took 2 hours! At this time I'm at 399. Then I opened more exotics to get to 400.
I'm really happy that I met the challenge to become 400. It only took me this long because I did the heroic raid on Thursday. I was not able to find a decent raid team on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's just that my friends are not as comparative as me. So I had to do this by myself. I still haven't found a team to do the heroic raid for a second time. LOL

1 답변I'm 399 have 3 titans for the raid because I deleted my hunter and warlock cause I don't like them. Yes I regret deleting a easy mode overpowered hunter for pvp. But I don't play much pvp so doesn't matter. Since I have a job I hadn't the time to farm exotics cause I need a chest to hit the 400 mark

It used to be that the raid and Iron Banner were the only way of reaching max level. And there was no infusion. Ahh the RNG of vanilla. What a cold, heartless b***h.

I saved packages and exotics, but hit a wall around 392 so I ran the heroic raid 3 times, each time passing certain rewards on (saving all spliced armor for the shader!) and doing archons forge in between. On the 3rd run I was 398 on my hunter who had a 388 helmet. Every piece was 400 except the helm so I had to do the entire RoI post story quest for the last free skelly key and then the whole at the gates quest to access the malok strike. Finally I ran the level 38 strike like an idiot and no chest spawned. So I ran the 320 version and opened the chest for my 400 helmet. The rest was simply decrypting a couple stored engrams with my 400 hunter to give to my warlock so I have 2 400s by just passing the ghost shell.

More than anything it was boosting faction ranks, for a quick jump to 390, and then running the HM raid though - in combination with exotics, skeleton keys and the forge for atrifacts, class items and ghosts. I would have had atleast one character at 400 regardless of class setup but being able to always go into the raid in the highest possible light is a huge advantage. Should be noted that it was never my plan to roll three hunters just to gear up faster. I have 300K kills across the other two classes but I've never been able to truely enjoy them. Hence, I've rolled back and forth to Hunter and now I'm at a point where I probably won't do it anymore. This is the first time I didnt start out a DLC on all three.

8 답변Archon forge is a ghost town, 3oc takes 20 of them to drop one exotic and it always the piece of gear I don't need to up it's light value. Got 12 3oc for my reward on the nightfall, getting to 400 is a long boring grind at this point.

3 답변I got to 400 light by ONLY doing the Heroic Raid ONCE! Proceeds to open packages, decrypt exotics, and do countless other things to further light progression. But yea, you know. The raid and only the raid got me to 400 light. Not the immeasurable amount of other stuff I did. That's what I read from your post.

3 답변Unfortunately I still haven't found a team to attempt the normal raid let alone hard raid, and somehow I'm at 396
