Idea: Mercury could be the central Vex Mind?
So I was thinking about Mercury. Why did the Vex completely terraform the planet? They don't seem to be doing anything with it except for housing the Vex networks. Then I started thinking. What if Mercury is actually the body for the most powerful Vex Mind? And that may be the final boss, an entire planet! Just an idea, no evidence or anything.

This is a way to incorporate this Raid part 1 Molten core ________________________________________ How to obtain the quest for the raid The quest will be called the Molten core After you defeat aksis on hard mode on your first time your ghost will say Ghost - There is a faint signal, I can't pinpoint where its coming from. Let's go to the vanguard and see if they now about it. This will give you the quest Step one -Return to the vanguard and see if they know what that strange signal was. When you talk to Ikora ray she will say Ikora Ray- "That signal ... it came from mercury I think it was a signal from the vex. The vex are being extremely hostile on Venus and mars . Talk to brother Vance and see if he will let you get in to the lighthouse ______________________________________ Step two -Talk to brother Vance Once you talk to Brother Vance he will say Brother Vance- "Bah. Do you really think that I will let a week guardians in to the lighthouse with out proving them selfs. Go to Venus or Mars kill the vex and find Osiris's notes and bring them to me then you may go to the lighthouse." This part of the quest will remind you of the Kavostov quest. There will be 5 of Osiris's notes that you will need to collect. ______________________________________ Step three Return to Brother Vance Once you talk to Brother Vance he will say Brother Vance - "Guardians ... I forgot something ... We need a gatelords eye ...." Ghost - This seems oddly familiar. ______________________________________ Step four Complete the mission The molten eye This will be a remastered version of the mission an eye of a gate lord. By beating this mission you will receive a gate lords eye. ______________________________________ Step Five Return to Brother Vance ... again When you return to Brother Vance he will say Brother Vance- "This pains me to do this ... You may go to the lighthouse." ______________________________________ Step six Complete the mission Waking the gate For this Mission you will spawn in at the lighthouse. Once you spawn you will run to where the chest would be but there will be a Vex gate. Hold the interact button on the gate and it will activate and then the mission will be complete. ______________________________________ Finally you will have to go back to Ikora ray This will complete the quest. _____________________________________________ ... Guess what. You get a new quest. Yay. This is the raid quest. The new raid icon will be some where on Venus ... I don't know

Maybe even an entirely separate timeline seeing as how they have the ability to "lock out" certain timelines. It's more likely that their central mind is either outside our galaxy and or timeline
