Supremacy---The most rage-filled game mode
It's funny how Iron Banner used to be the campiest game mode in all of Destiny and now it's the most aggressive since it is Supremacy. Now I noticed that most people are crying out on the forums on how stupid the game mode is. My only logic is that the Iron Banner is much better than before. I enjoy this shotgun-warfare because now I know that there will be no one who will camp his butt off and not even play control properly. Just get out of this salt zone is all I'm saying... Then you'll realize that this mode is actually really fun and hectic.
[spoiler]Edit: To make this clear, I'm saying that I like this game mode a lot. The only reason this post is a thing is because I'm tiered of seeing others whine about Supremacy no matter what. It's easy, it's fun, it's very aggressive... Isn't that what we all wanted for a very long time? We were tiered of Iron Camper and people not playing Control or Clash properly and now we have something new in which people can EASILY do the objective. (lol) I'm tiered of this hatred and nerf shotgun and even fusion rifle bull crap saying "snipers r dead" when in reality they are still good as f'ck. I'm done now guys, have a good day.[/spoiler]

If I'm not in a fire-team all I see is randoms running around alone and dying, and not picking up crests. I don't think shotguns are a problem here because this mode presumes everyone will run up to crests and that means that close quarters gun is needed.

To be honest I don't mind the game mode just how hard it is to win with a team of randoms. Mostly because there's the occasional afk kid, there's the people who don't have thumbs, and then there's the people who don't care for crests in general. When you top the team almost every game dropping 35-50 crests almost every game while 3 kids at the bottom don't clear 15 or even 10 it becomes a problem. As far as the shotguns go, the only time i've been killed by them is in close quarter engagements in tight rooms or when it's you vs an enemy rushing a crest and it's just whoever gets there first. And if you can't beat a shotty join em that's the only way you'll get it done, or sit back and pop a round from a couple dozen yards away with a pulse,scout, or sniper. While I admit, I'm more of a fan of it just giving you the kill credit on kill, as long as you have a competent and decent team together it's not a bad game type.

I have no problem with a separate game type that is strongly biased towards shotguns. I find that the frustrating thing about the game type is that it was made the iron banner game type. Supremacy forces you to play one specific play style the entire time, or you are just left in the dust by the opponent. If Combined Arms was randomly selected as the Iron Banner play list, everyone would crucify bunnies for forcing players to almost entirely play passive and with scouts/snipers. Iron banner should not be an event that favors one game type more that the other, but a game type that all play styles can fell welcome, and should require more teamwork than the current playlist.

Primaries need a massive buff. 2 tap kills with hand cannons, 4-5 shot kills with high impact autos... You just can't compete with the shotgun Rush. Even if you're accurate with your primary, which is hard enough vs a moving target, players just tank your bullets and shotgun you. And if you're too far away, they just veer off around a corner and run away and try to find another guy to shotgun rush. Its absolutely ridiculous. I've never played such a fundamentally flawed pvp game before. You make a permanent radar and primary weapons insanely feeble and wonder why you have to nerf shotguns 4 separate times, and blink, and special ammo, etc, and STILL don't have it right. Its completely baffling. I really want to see a chart of all the weapons used this banner like they have posted in the past. I guarantee you'll see the Matador at #1 by a massive margin. And then they'll "tune" shotguns again. And the same frigging process will repeat. Over 2 years later, the same shit is going on over and over and over... EDIT Thanks for the support. Glad people also see PvP in Destiny through my eyes

8 답변I -blam!-ing hate Supremacy. Kill Confirmed was garbage in Call of Duty, and the Crucible is a mess, so combining them is just awful. Every -blam!-ing game is just a blowout where one team wins by 60+ crests and no one uses anything but shotguns. My God, I really don't ever want IB to be Supremacy again.

2 답변This IB is awful. I used to like IB a lot and I was really looking forward to this one. But no, it had to be Supremacy. Now I don't hate shotguns, I use them a lot, but shotgun battles are awful. It feels like everytime two people engage in a shotgun joust, it's like a roll of the dice on who will win. Camping snipers are horrible too, but at least they're easier to counter than a whole team of shotgun toting nightstalkers and strikers. Bottom line: Screw IB Supremacy, just give us Control or Clash again. Those are the only 6v6 game modes that aren't trash.

2 답변I got tired of using a scout, and fusion rifle and Sunbreaker, my usual setup. So I switched to Striker, Dunemarchers, juggernaut, shotgun, and got 22 crests first min of the game and had my super before anyone else. Felt so wrong...

3 답변I instantly realized some people would not be happy. Sitting at the back of the map with a sniper will do you no good. If you're not out in the thick of things it won't go well for you.
