SLEEPER SIMULANT > GJALLARHORN
Last week, I completed a the raid 5 times (3 times for rewards, twice to help out friends) and EVERY RAID i went into, someone would moan at me for using sleeper simulant instead of gjallarhorn/iron gjallarhorn) People should know by now that sleeper does so much more damage than gjallarhorn, as ghorn took a big nerf before the dlc dropped.
Basically, if you have sleeper, USE IT. It's the second most damaging weapon at asksis, only losing to the cannons. To get the most damage use 3x sleepers 3x cannons, weapons of light, tether and Viking funeral. so much damage
GHORN IS NOT AS GODLY AS IT WAS IN YEAR 1

29 답변Just so you know. After a lot of testing. Sleeper only beats ghally in the fact it can be buffed by weapons. The damage is as follows. Sleeper crit. = most damage. Ghally = most reliable and consistent damage. Sleeper body shot. = less damage then ghally. Litterally the only way sleeper is better is the weapons of light buff. Other then that in a timed situation like the final boss when you are using a cannon it's extremely hard for the average player to get all canons and sleeper sets off. A good player yes can. But without wrapons. Ghally does more. Tldr; ghally is 100x better at ad control then anything else in the game. Sleeper does the most raw damage as long as crit shot ONLY.

Sleeper can also hit criticals. With Heavy ammo perk holds 12 shots... Percision is rewarded. Wolf Pack rounds could use a buff so that it does exactly the same amount of damage as sleeper. (Everyone can get it now anyway) Then it's just preference

Gjally you have a max of 5 total shots, where as with sleeper I get up to 9 shots (this is my hunter). My set up Scout rifle (kings fall Doom of chelchis) Sniper (kings fall Yasmin sniper) Sleeper First phase of aksis damage, scout and yasmine sniper. I'll unload on him with sniper. When I run out of ammo, switch to scout. When I run out ammo in the clip. I switch back to sniper without ever reloading. Since these have the Cocoon perk, I do more dps by not reloading. I repeat this in second phase of aksis dps. Third phase, unload with sleeper. When I run out, I use the sniper and scout. This with blessing bubble and tether. I do crazy damage. I feel that it takes too long to reload the gjally compared to sleeper. Plus sleeper, it's easier to get critical hits.

Also to those who have armor that award more heavy ammo you get 7 Gjallarhorn ammo and you get 12 sleeper. I didn't want to admit it but sleeper is much better and you get precision damage and oh my GOODNESS the damage. Rock it for sure guys I love it

9 답변I have raze lighter equipped for the entirety of the raid. Why? Cause it murders the captains during vosik fight It murders the dude who -blam!-s with my ramp at zamboni It murders the yellow bar vandals in one uppercut at aksis And it murders the cannon captains with one uppercut and one swipe. Meaning for the entirety of the raid, whoever is on my side has much less to worry about killing them, for i quickly take out the large threats.

But which get more overall DPS per phase? I fire 6 Gally shots and then pump sniper rounds into him after. I'm not debating that Gally is better, I'm just asking how many sleeper shots are you able to get in, and (if any) sniper shots after?

9 답변SS is good and all but you know the Gjallarhorn shoots rockets, right? Then they explode into little rockets...Like a bunch of them... You know this right?

9 답변I just like the Ghorn so I can pop a couple rockets at the captain and melt him before he kills my sub-par teammate.

9 답변Sleeper has a higher ceiling, yes, but also a lower floor because it demands exposure and aiming for precision shots. Gally has a higher floor because of how easy it is to use (you can panic fire it with minimal exposure and aiming), but a lower ceiling under ideal conditions. In a vacuum, Sleeper wins. But this game isn't a vacuum. When things get chaotic and messy, the Gally still delivers.
