Tip for Rank up Packages! Choose wisely
(Cryptarch rank ups excluded)
Your rank with this faction has increased!
Now you have to choose one of three package options: Armor, Chroma or Weapons.
Let math do the work..
For this, I'll take away the chroma package, assuming you've collected them already..
Take a look at your weapons, add the totals of each weapon you have including your ghost and divide the total by 4. Remember the number.
Now, separately, add the totals of your armor including your artifact, and divide the total by 6. Remember the number.
If your weapons have a higher value than you armor, I recommend choosing an armor package.
If your armor has a higher value than your weapons, I recommend choosing a weapon package.
This should help get the most of your rank up packages! Good luck

But you don't get Artifacts from these packages, so why include it? You should be adding your three weapons and ghost, and your five armour pieces and ghost, since the ghost can drop from either package. Also, I think you're just better off gambling for the lowest piece you have. I just got 366 average on weapons (rounded down) but 367 (rounded down) on armour despite having a 370 primary. I'd rather gamble for some better boots (currently 365).

I honestly choose weapon packages all the time since I get the vendor armor from engrams. The new weapons from ROI vendors cannot be decrypted from engrams. (unless you got lucky you decrypt an engram that turns into a Nemesis Star or Trespasser lol)

2 답변Tip. Don't know if this works or not but if you need a certain piece of armor or weapon or even class item or ghost, inspect the package and item before redeeming it and you may get what you want. Did it 3 times and got more or less what I needed more or less.

I tend to go with the mode rather than the mean (although both methods could lead to the same package choice). That is, whichever of armour or weapons has the greater number of lower items, will result in me picking that kind of package. So if all 3 of my weapons are 352, and I have the helm and arm at 355, but the legs and class armour are 351, I would pick an armour package as it has a better chance at upgrading the 351 gear.

Umwut? 3 weapons. Add them up, divide by 3. This gives the average. 4 armor slots. Artifacts/ghosts aren't a guaranteed armor drop. Exclude them. Add your armor, divide by 4. Figure which has the lower average, then pick that one. However, look at individual pieces. If you have multiple armor pieces that are very low, yet the average is still higher than weapons, go with armor. And vice versa.

2 답변Most of the time I pick up my faction and vanguard packages at the same time and split them one is armor and the other is weapons. Been working out so far.

2 답변Considering your armor total should be higher since there are two more slots, that logic doesn't quite make sense.

Typically for me I choose armor and get a new ghost every time. Weapon you get a class item. That's been my personal experience. I have got w ghost with weapon but it's rare. Gun and class item, shader or ship. Armor and ghost.
