Iheard about the kotaku leaks and the fact that destiny 2 will be a new experience and we will be starting over. Please don't do this. Don't take our guardians away. There will be backlash from this. We've all spent so many endless hours leveling up. If anything let us at least take one of our characters to year 4/ destiny 2. Bungie I hope you are listening. There will be a large section of the community that will leave if we did all this work from vanilla to rise of iron for nothing. We want to continue the story with OUR guardians.

Being able to fight alongside the Iron Lords, watching the colonies on Mars and Venus fall to the Cabal and Vex. Being one of the guardians who stood tall and kept the wall from falling. That and that alone would make me ok with losing my guardian. Plus we'd get to meet the stranger, and a bunch of other characters out of the lore, and Zavala, Ikora, and Cayde-6 might actually fight outside the tower.

작성자: The 7th fall 9/29/2016 11:02:31 AMI'm all for a complete reboot if Bungie can do way better than what they did with Destiny and seemingly half-a**ing development. If Destiny 2 is the Mona Lisa of what Destiny should have been then by all means wipe the slate clean and have a fresh start, I don't wanna see anymore re-skinning of current content over and over with a ridiculous $$$ tag. Point overall is if Destiny 2's content is a major improvement over what we have with actual planning, polishment, diversity(not Luke Smith's version of it though), real story, proper PvE/PvP, etc then I'll happily consider it for starting over as I don't think Bungie has fallen completely outta grace.

작성자: Zo lbz 9/29/2016 7:19:37 AMPlease bungie, do not take away my guardians and gear in Destiny 2017. I've spent hours/days into Destiny. I am a year one player, I have completed all year one achievements and year 2 moments of triumph. Currently working on rise of iron, simply put I've been playing destiny since day 1 and have put in a lot of work into making my guardians who they are today. I've worked very hard to acquire items for my guardians, solved puzzles, went through hours of frustration with different teams to achieve a common goal and come out victorious... and to wipe all that away to start fresh for a new game would be devastating, to me at least, if someone asked if I would follow Destiny after 2017, I would honestly be on the fence because of the amount of attention that's given to its loyal returning fan base of players. Please don't take my gear away! :(

6 답변I think we'd all like to carry over at least a small portion of our Destiny 1 experience to Destiny 2. But weapons, armor and sub-classes is something I'd rather not see carried over. Carrying over that sort of thing only lends itself to restricting the creative process and game design for what should be a fresh outlook on the game. Especially considering there was arguably a never clear outlook for Destiny 1 in the first place. If anything, I would suggest they carry over emblems, shaders and implement a legacy armor/weapon set for each class. Just so there's something to keep people happy that have been loyal to the game throughout it's growing pains.

I agree but how will Bungie attract new players to Destiny 2 if they cater to what is in numbers term a relatively small % of the player base ? I have mixed feelings but Destiny 2 will be a new game and not an expansion so it is tricky for Bungie. I think they will probably end up just bringing forward grimoire or something cosmetic.

Its abit of a bummer, but oh well... From what I heard it is gonna be a polished Destiny with open world, going into activities directly from city (there seems to be multiple ones) and completely new classes. From the sound of it, I will go as far as saying, that it is gonna be set in the future from our current Desinty timeline.

I have a feeling that Bungie will show D2 in E3 and we will have clearer picture on what will happen. I just hope it's not like E3 of 2013 were they show almost a totally different game. I have high hopes for this franchise because it has so much potential to grow. Things I want. -more raids -more in depth story -more abilities and supers -attachment to weapons -open world -great loot to chase -secrets -dedicated servers PvP experience -mini games such as cards, SRL, knife throwing ect..... I think they started before that we will be able to transfer our characters what might happen is they will get rid of the current sub-classes and overhaul them altogether. We will have to wait and see I guess.

If a "10 year game" takes away everything I've done every day for the past 3 years in a new game and nothing imports over after all the grinding hours... I'M DONE and will never buy an Activision game again. BECOME LEGEND. ok, SO LET US YEAR ONE DAY ONE PLAYERS DO IT LIKE THE GAME WAS CONCEPTUALIZED AS.

작성자: Senor Crouch 9/29/2016 6:04:43 AMI definitely do not want to start completely over from scratch. While I think it is a stupid idea and something I am totally against, I would be willingly to see things in a different light if and only if Bungie implements cross-platform play for Destiny 2. And because it takes much more than two Aleve to manage the headache brought on by PvP adolescents wailing about PC vs Console play, here's a bottle to suck on: - Similar to Private Matches, allow players the choice of playing PS4-Exclusive Crucible Matches, Xbox One-Exclusive Crucible Matches, Console-Exclusive Crucible Matches, or Open Crucible Matches. *gasp* Such a life altering, world changing concept! The ability of choice! My whole world has been turned upside down! I suddenly feel like an attack helicopter with the desire to be a world famous chef!...... ¬.¬

I aways thought they would do this you know reset the level and the subclasses but allow us to keep the guns and the gear maybe they want us to start from scatch on each game just like you if to on gran turimso racing or ff games.

Here's a thought that would be balanced and make people think. What if Bungie only let us bring our currently equipped gear, from one character, into Destiny 2? Having the option of bringing our gear forward would be great and having to choose one item of each type would be agony.
