Reportedly, rumors also suggest that things from Destiny, such as characters, maps, gear, etc; won't be carrying over to D2. It seems Bungie is hoping to make D2 an entirely new game, and not just some measly expansion that improves a few things like TTK & RoI. Destinations and maps should be more populated and have more interesting quests due to scrapping last-gen, according to reports.

3 답변I think that the rumours (it's still a rumour until bungie confirms it) that we have to have new characters is a terrible move and makes what we did for the last 3 years a waste.

1 답변작성자: Captain Kirk 9/28/2016 11:10:23 AMHopefully not. Destiny is one of the only console exclusive games out there! Not to mention that PC community! It's bad enough already! #ConsoleMasterRace #AlwaysConsole #TheSoulPurposeOfThisThirdHashtagIsJustToBeAbnormallyLongForAHashtag

I don't know why, but, for some reason I just absolutely DREAD the idea of having Destiny on PC. I'm going to guess it's because I know a LOT of people are going to transfer. Without me. I don't have a nice PC, not even a Laptop. I guess I just like the way the community is now. Just my 2 Cents :)

3 답변작성자: Master Ives 9/28/2016 5:04:37 AMAh, yes, Kotaku... The very same website that had half the Destiny community convinced that Bungie had intentionally removed the Year 1 Ghallarhorn from the pool of items that Xur's stock was randomly pulled from to make people grind for it just because some anonymous source on Reddit said so. Yeah, I think I'll pass on these rumors, thanks.
Inb4 the OP responds about Kotaku's "excellent track record" like he has with every other naysayer as if he has some personal stake in the article he linked to.
3 답변All I can say is that they'd better let our base character, shaders, ships, and emblems carry over. I don't give a damn about gear as long as we keep those.

3 답변I don't want Destiny on pc. There will be hacking, the pc community is...unfavourable, cross platform play is just a stupid idea for an fps, and they have plenty of mmo's to keep themselves happy. Plus if the shooting mechanics stay the same, this game won't hold a candle to competitive play in Unreal or Tribes or Overwatch or whatever. Honestly there will just be way more complaining,

18 답변Lies. I wouldn't believe any of it, as it has been 100% confirmed MANY MANY times that characters at the very least WILL carry through the entirety of the franchise.

11 답변Kotaku is bullshit. They're the same people who claimed there was a HoW raid. I'd trust a politician before I trust them for anything.

The specter of having nothing to show for 3 years of progressions looms large over Year 3. Even if gear could carry over to Destiny 2, Bungie can't let us 1000+ hour players run rough shod all over new Guardians when 2 drops. If you are going to do something in Year 3, do it now while it matters.

As long as I can keep my character, and by that I mostly mean the design, the look. And maybe my AOS#Cryptid cloak.... The rest they can explain away, we jump to a new star system chasing the darkness' heart or something, and oh no some strange thing happens we're crashing arg we've lost most of what we had on board, gotta find new gear to carry on the fight and repair your ship. We could even then be mostly gearing up from lost golden age outposts/cities, awesome lost advanced tech weapons that are really cool for the few weeks we get to use them before the PvP babies get them all nerfed.

2 답변Cool, Kotaku is usually spot-on with their Destiny rumors. Imagine if they added cross-platform play, kind of like Rocket League...
